What happens when a man enjoying a party finds a ring on the dance floor, innocently picks it up (or at least I think 'innocently'), and the girl standing nearest him screams, "I DO!"

Zaed arrives in Pakistan after having lived in the United States. Joining a group of friends on their way to a party seems like a fun idea until the unthinkable happens. He finds himself unexpectedly 'hitched' to Natasha (Natty to family and friends), who willingly accepts his marriage proposal. Sophia (Sophie), her

Love Me Do by H.A. Kay was a refreshingly fun read. It took me to the hip and happening city of Karachi, in Pakistan, and allowed me to be a part of the Sophie's intriguing life. Sophie is quite endearing and fiercely loyal to those whom she loves. The hilarious work scenarios and her quick wit kept me laughing and thoroughly entertained. She's a lovable character who's qualities are much like the author herself! Come experience the urbane lives of the charming characters Sophie, Natasha, and Za ...more

This book was cute. I enjoyed learning how weddings are held in different cultures, and how the life style differs from one side of Pakistan to another. I like how strong willed and stubborn Sophia is throughout the book. This isn't my normal genre, I will admit, but it was well written and kept me interested to read it over a few days. I love H.A. Kay's writing style. Keep it up!

This is a sweet, fun read. A love story that takes place in Pakistan, the story also moves between different locations and cultures within the country. The love story is believable as are the characters. If there’s any criticism, it’s that the book plays a balancing act between catering to Desis and non-Desis. That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
