It was ok

I finished it but, it was really hard to. The book was OK. Like I said, I finished it but I think I skimmed the 40% of the book. I would not recommend this book to a friend. Sorry, b\c I HATE to leave bad reviews, but this book didn't do anything for me...no feels...no nothing really.

During her life up to High School , Lauren Scott has always meticulously followed the rules and has been known as the GG aka Goodie-Good and is the type of person who will tell tales if other's aren't following the rules. She has always believed as her parents and father especially taught her that rules are important and must be followed. This is all going to come crashing down though as she arrives home to find her father with another woman. Definitely not the type who has been practising what ...more

This book would be a great book for a teenager. It's all about a girl trying to please her parents. She has to be good and act a certain way. She is super smart so ended up jumping 2 grades so the high schoolers make fun of her and call her GG. Short for goodie goodie because she always tells on people and never gets into any trouble. Her biggest tormenter is Kayden. The high school bad boy with killer looks. Her last year in school, Lauren and her best friend Parker decide its time for her to ...more

I really enjoy YA romance books as an adult. I think it is because there is no time wasted on finding various euphemisms for body parts and instead a lot more time is spent on my favorite part of romance - the relationship development, the angst, the excitement of first love, the banter.

Lauren is known in school as "GG", the goodie-goodie. She is known for always following the rules in all aspects of life. But what if she finds out that breaking the rules and rebelling a little bit can

Ok

I wanted to like this book, but It just didn't work. The bullying, the plan & all the stuff in between just seemed hashed together. I can't figure out why the main characters were enemies or why they would work together after being enemies

This novel is recommended to teens and older.

There is always a price to pay and for Lauren – it’s a big one. Her virginity.

I bet that grabbed your attention. Well Lauren went through a lot of big events at the beginning of the story which made her want to become a rebel and learn to stand up for herself and she learned to do it from her high school enemy-Kayden. It’s

Taylor Henderson: What is one word that describes this novel? Inspiring! Schoen weaves a great story in the Rebellion Project. With lots of drama, coming of age experiences, and new love, this novel was a great teen read that kept my interest piqued throughout. I enjoyed Lauren's transformation into who she really wanted to be, and I even fell for Kayden a little in the process. The novel has a good mix of romance and that feeling that comes with finding yourself in your

Caused To Be A Rebel! . . .

This book started out kind of slow and rough but then had me in tears while connecting me to the protagonist plight of wanting to be free and understood. Seriously I was caught crying and it was not pretty. The story deals with bullying, self improvement, trust, family and making amends, oh and of course finding love.

Know as the goodie-goodie who follows the rules and rats on her peers, seventeen year old Lauren Scott is constantly taunted by her classmates

I had the distinct pleasure of beta reading this book for the author before submission to the publisher. Sara Schoen is a bright young talent to be watched for.
Rebellion Project is the story of a girl who lived by all the rules set for her until the person who set the rules betrayed her trust. Unfortunately (yet fortunately for the author), the premise resonated with me way too well. Certain similarities in this book to my own life were almost uncanny, but that just made it so much more real and

Rebellion Project by Sara Schoen is a good book. It is very well written. This is a great young adult book that has no outright sex.

Lauren has been bullied most of her life. She was smart, smarter than most her peers so it allowed her to skip a few grades. Now in her senior year she just wants to get this year over with so she can move on with her life. Lauren has always been the perfect daughter. She follows all the rules, never lies, and always does as her parents say. Until something changes

This is a young adult book and it speaks to the ups and downs young adults face. This isn't just about high school bullies but more importantly it's about how young adults view themselves as theory move to college and the work force.

Lauren is a normal girl. High grades, living up to her parents expectations and afraid to be selfish and follow her own dreams. Insert popular guy at school who can use all of the things Lauren struggles with to make himself look better and more popular.

The Rebellion Project is the perfect Y/A coming of age story of Lauren Scott, a teenager in high school dealing with all the drama that goes along with it, as well as having a goodie-goodie reputation for following the rules and reporting those who DON'T. Kayden Daniels, a friend to Lauren in middle school but in high school, after Lauren reported him for his bad-boy deeds and got him in trouble, he's her worst antagonist!

When Lauren decides to try to shed her good-girl persona, her best (and

This book was awesome. Lauren is the child every parent wishes they had. She gets good grades, listens, no talking back or anything. There's a guy named Kayden that makes fun of her for years. When she catches her dad cheating. Things change in her life and a unexpected tragedy changes things. She begins to lean on Kayden for help to change her reputation but he only wants one thing in return. She agrees but will Kayden fall in love with her or will someone try to jeopardize their relationship

A really good coming of age story. I enjoyed it. The characters were believable and although there was romance, it was more about their individual journeys which I liked because I'm not always a huge romance reader. But even though I say that, I must admit I was caught up in the drama and wanted to smack Kayden a few times.
I liked the main character Lauren, but I liked the secondary characters just as much which made me happy.
I usually get bored with books at the end, but this book just got

Lauren an all around perfect student and daughter, followed the rules in everything she did until the one person she looks to for the rules breaks them and betrays her.
Lauren enters a phase of rebellion all be it starting out small she finds a sense of freedom and a new relationship sparks between her and the one person who has made her life hard Kayden, the story is full of emotion and angst that every young adult can relate too.
The story is well written and flows

A sweet funny story about self discovery. Lauren was stuck afraid to take a risk and tormented by her peers for her good girl persona, but an arrangement with one of her tormentors changes all of that. Kayden is kind of jerk at first teasing her constantly but early on it is clear to see that he's more than just the class clown. As the project goes on their relationship changes and they balance each other out making it clear they belong together. This book was charming and sweet showing you that ...more

I absolutely loved devouring this book!
The story kept my attention from start to finish.

I love stories where the heroine ends up with her tormenter, or in this case bully. Because of it, she becomes better than ever and the bully can chuck his ways for a better outlook. As is what happens here.

There was a lot of drama and angst, but that is what truly kept my rapt attention.

Rebellion

In this book you have Lauren this girl who follows the rules. Then you have Kayden who likes to break the rules. After Lauren catches her father cheating she wants a change from the strict rules she had grown up with. So she enlists Kaydens help since he is know for breaking the rules. Add colored hair, new attitude and a fake boyfriend and you have a great story.

Lauren has always been the good girl and followed the rules which has made her the prime target of ridicule by the resident high school bad boy Kayden. When Lauren's life is turned upside down she sets out on a mission of self discovery. This book is filled with laughter and sadness but will definitely keep you reading. This is a cute story about being yourself. This is a must read.

I hate leaving bad reviews on books but this was a DNF @25%. I just couldn’t get into this book at all and Lauren, the main character, was such a brat! I couldn’t get on with her whatsoever. You can’t be a goodie-goodie that rats on everyone then sulk you’ve only got one friend! It’s just not plausible. And at 25% the love interest was still being a complete douchewad towards her and I didn’t see how that was going to change apart from Lauren’s rebellion doing a complete 180 and she no longer ...more
