However, with every tender kiss from Richmond’s eyes, and every sinful touch he places upon her, sparks fly between them. Chemistry is ignited, pulling them closer and closer together. The attraction they feel for one another is too hard to resist, so they let themselves fall madly in love, hard. And fast.

Pleasant read

Richmond and Kayla both lost someone they loved on the same day. There first meeting was at their respective loved one's funeral, yet neither knew just how deep a connection these deaths intertwined their lives. Richmond needed a nanny and Kayla needed a job, so their story truly beings when he hires her. Enjoyed the romance between them. Richmond was something of an ass at times, but Kayla refused tto give up on on him. Secrets, drama, suspense, and love, this bookmhad it all. But doing the wrong thing for love could have completely destroyed these two and their families. Richmond and Kayla will need to one day forgive Russell in order to heal and to allow him a continued relationship with his grandkids.

Marrying The Millionaire

I think I'm falling in live with this series. A hopeless romantic I am. I loved the storyline and all the characters especially Richmond and Kayla. I think what makes this story so believable is Kayla life. In the end I fell in love with how they became a blended family.

Marrying the Millionaire

A touching and compelling story. With so much heartache pain surrounding them, Richmond and Kayla found solace in each other. When a horrible secret from their pasts threaten to tear them apart, they have to learn to fight for the bond the share. I teared up a few times reading this story. Great, storyline.

Book 2 of a great series!!

Wow!!! Richmond and Kayla relationship was cute! Im so sad how Richmond first wife died, but I'm happy he was able to find love again. Although he gave Kayla hell she did not give up. The secrets, plot twists, and suspense in this book was like a rollercoaster ride! Sabrina is an amazing author and I'm becoming a fan. On to book 3 of the series

Better than the blurb made it

Kayla made the mistakes in the name of love as many do. Richmond lost love far too soon for his sanity. However, through additional life situations of stress, drama, secrets, and more they found their forever ever after.

Great storyline, drama and suspense too keep you on the edge of your seat into the very end.

He loves me.. he loves me not

This was an interesting read because I normally don’t like suspense. It was an enjoyable read if you love romance but I felt like the female character was too weak and depended too much on the men in her life. There were a lot of erotic chapters.

Fair enough

This book has an interesting plot. It dragged on a bit too much in the effort to create suspense. The steamy love scenes would be appreciated if that is your fancy but they struck me as long winded add ons and distractions from the main plot.

Good story

My first book by this author. The story was interesting, even with the immature dialogue between the adults. Loose end between Russell and Richmond.

Another okay book from this series

Another book, where condoms aren't being used and a pregnancy occurs. Not much of a closure between Richmond and Russell. Besides that, I'm enjoying the series.

Love and mysterious lies

The story line had me hooked. i read the entire book because I wanted to know how things would be revealed. The reason this book did not get five stars is the profanity. There were descriptive words used at other times, therefore I believe the author could have found other words to convey the feelings of the moment.

So this book was just....meh. There were some inconsistencies that annoyed me e.g. if CJ is two at the beginning of the book and then two years pass then he should be four not three.

The whole murderer scenes were just laughable. It was as if the author was undecided if she wanted the audience to know who it was or not.

I think everyone knows Kayla and Richmond would get back together at the end, but to have Richmond breakup with Kayla and then Kayla not be upset that he was acting that crazy about his deceased wife was weird to me. Shouldn't she make sure her future husband is no longer heartbroken. Unresolved guilt, grief, and issues can be a tremendous burden on a marriage....yet she caves that quickly after an already failed first marriage.

Regardless of the aforementioned the main reason why I gave this book two stars is because the conversations weren't believable at all! Like seriously....read them out loud. Let someone else be one person and you be the other....not realistic.

Interesting take on a second chance romance

I have never read a story by Sabrina Sims McAfee, "Marrying The Millionaire" was my introduction. I found myself intrigued by the suspense element. I did find certain gaps between believability and story development, I can say that Richmond and Kayla's relationship was true Lifetime movie. I still am left with the eerie feeling surrounding Jason. You understand the Salina portion but what about Leroy. Once the different gaps are filled I think McAfee would have a five star on her hands.

The sub characters is what made you want to continue to read.

The Millionaire Wins

Richmond and Kayla's story took me in. He worked my nerves about whether or not he was in love, but his mama had to remind him that if things were reversed, he may have done the same thing. The only critical problem is when Alana met Dirk. instead of his name, you kept referring to Shade. Hope that can be fixed. I loved the kids and I especially liked how CJ stood up for his mom.

Whew!!!!! Talk about an excellent novel. Mrs. McAfee successfully delivers a contemporary romance mixed in with a little light suspense. What a page turner! I actually lost a lot of sleep reading this book but I ain't complaining a bit. I thought Marrying the Marine was good but this one definitely rocks! Well developed characters and storyline. Now on to Book 3 in the series (Marrying Mr. Right).
