This is a nonfiction book that is intended for ages 6 and up. This book series has won a Parents Choice award. In the Magic School Bus and the Shark Adventure the teacher Ms. Frizzle takes the students on a field trip to the beach to find out about Sharks. The bus turns into a fish and they dive deep and explore the ocean while learning about Sharks.
This level 2 reader of this series is full of facts about sharks. The way that it is presented is appropriate for a child to consume the knowledge

We love the magic school bus series of books, they are very educational!
Little Miss and the Legomeister
I love the Magic School Bus books. Legomeister loved these for years, and now Little Miss is starting to request them.

The Scholastic Readers are nice for bedtime stories because they're shorter, and of course, they're great for early readers. They're more difficult than some easy readers, a little longer with more challenging words. The writing feels choppy; that's a side effect of simplifying it. Recommends it for: parents reading with children
Ms. Frizzle and the kids travel to the ocean depths to discover the secret behind the "mermaid's purse" that Keesha found. This book tells all about sharks, with enough detail to entertain children and demystify these creatures. They depict sharks as creatures that can be dangerous, but who don't typically target humans for their food.
