I am hooked. I read the first PSI book and immediately had to read #2. Well, on to #3. The premise for the series is unusual. The characters have a variety of abilities that work well together. Hope is a gifted 11year old who is old for her age. The books are short, so reading them one after another is like reading a serial.
3-3.5 Book 2 starts where book 1 ended, in the middle of the action. Reads quickly, a love triangle (square?) grows while the world is potentially ending, but YOLO. Interesting intertwining of past and present which leaves the cast as confused as the reader, at times, regarding where things are happening.

This race is on for Kylie, Hope, Noah and Ayden to find the scrolls and stop them from going into the wrong hands. Kylie will need to get the aid of someone no one would ever expect. Hope will have to go back in time then she ever has before, and a ghost from Kylie's past comes back into the picture trying to stay in the background and secretly keep kylie and the team safe.
My Opinion:
This a great instalment in this series. Full of action from beginning to end. They always have an aspect of danger following them. Noah finds out more of the things that his wife had done to him. Kylie and Ayden explore the growing feelings between them a bit more. But there are more surprises in store for the team. Hope runs into big trouble while separated from the team in search of the scrolls and the last person the team ever expects to come to their aid does. I highly recommend reading! This book cannot be read as a stand alone though so you will need to read book 1 first.
I loved this installment in the PSI Trilogy. I actually read books 1 & 2 back to back on Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed the action and that the fluff was kept to a minimum. The different psychic ability that each member of the team has is definitely intriguing. I love how they work together while still being independent of one another.
I absolutely love the interaction between Hope and Kylie. I'm looking forward to learning more about John. I'm looking forward to book 3. I'm definitely going to be looking more into works by A.K. Alexander who is a new author to me. I'm a long time fan of J.R. Rain's.

'See No Evil' was a great addition to 'The PSI Series'. The storyline was well written and the way it played out was full of surprises. As the story progressed, the scenarios were increasingly complex. The gifts each character has plays a role in the recovery of the sacred scrolls. And along the way secrets are exposed and deceit is found every where. The characters are being tested whether they know it or not. I look forward to reading the conclusion to how the story plays out. A great add to your tbr list.
I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book. See No Evil continues where the first book left off and you will not be disappointed. I was hooked once I started, read the book straight through, was to hard to put down! Great characters, intrigue and the book leaves you wanting more. Ready for the third book A.K. Alexander and J.R. Rain. Highly recommend this book!
