This can be read as a stand alone book in the series, however be warned, once you pick the book up, you can't put it down again until it's finished.

I thought I loved her previous characters, but Grayson and Reece had me falling in love with them completely and giving me yet another book boyfriend to replace the others.

Heartbreak, betrayal and redemption - another 5++ star read

Let me just say this, I LOVE Jessie's writing so much that I devour everything she writes as quickly as I can and then I'm chomping at the bit for the next story. This book centers around Reece, who is the older sister of Tulsi from Diamonds and Dust. We got a little peek at her character from that book and I just knew there would be more to come.

Reece left home before graduating high school and

I loved Grayson he was patient and kind and had a way with words at times, "this may be hard for you to believe, but I like you Shortstack,” he said with a smile. “Even if you are the orneriest little thing I’ve met in a long time." He doesn't like the thought of her putting a tattoo on her bum, "that would be a damned shame.” He cupped her a** in his free hand . “You should never put a mark on something this perfect." Jessie Evans has given us another incredible book set in the wonderful small town of Lonesome Point, TX. Reece Hearst never thought she'd return to this town much less meet the incredibly handsome Grayson Parker. The events of her youth may be to hard to handle but for Grayson she is willing to try. This is book four in the series but it can easily be read standalone. You definitely want to grab this one, I highly recommend it! ...more

Reese Hearst is a champion bull rider on the professional circuit, but 12 years ago she was stripped as a rodeo queen for "consorting" with a judge--if nearly being raped by her trusted mentor/coach is "consorting"... Even Reece's dad didn't believe her side, but then he was best friends with Neil Parker. Reece ran away and hasn't been back to Lonesome Point TX in all that time, but now she's recovering from a severe head injury incurred in her last rodeo and needs a quiet space in which to recu ...more

When I am looking for a sexy cowboy, I know I will find one in Lonesome Point, Texas. This small town is chock-full of characters that just win you over with ease, and keep you coming back for more. And more. And more again. I’m not sure I’lll cope if this series were to end anytime soon…

Reece Hearst knows what it’s like to be beat up, both physically and emotionally. After years as a professional bull rider, those beatings have resulted in a potentially career (and life) ending injury and sent

I love Jessie's Lonesome Point Texas series. So much. I want to know these people, I want to live with them. These small town people are full of life, emotion, sass and love. Jessie just gets better and better. I love the way she writes and I can't wait to read the next book because I know it will be amazing! Glitter and Grit by Jessie Evans is the fourth book in her Lonesome Point, Texas Series. This series is an awesome combination of romance and modern cowboy.

Reece's story was very moving. Prior to this book we only knew her as Tulsi's standoffish, professional bull-riding sister. Now we get the story behind the attitude and aloofness.

When Reece Hearst is injured during her Rodeo Circuit, she has nowhere else to go so she decides to head back home to Lonesome Point. A place she left when she was 18 and due to personal reasons , vowed never to return. For those who don't know Reece turns out to be Tulsi's older sister - Tulsi was the one who married Pike Sherman in Diamonds and Dust - Book #3. On her first night back, she heads to the local bar and decides to sleep away her pain with Mr. Broody at the end of the bar. When she ...more

You have the mischief maker, the good girl, the newbies, the lifelong friends....its a town you feel as if you know in your heart.
With book 4 Glitter and Grit we get to meet Reece (sister to Tulsi) and Grayson (left for the military, when Reece was just a little girl). Reece has to deal with demons from her past, and

Highly enjoyed this!!

I absolutely adored watching Grayson and Reece coming together. Even though falling for him is terrifying for her, she doesn't fight her feelings much and doesn't run away from him. Thank god for that! I was half expecting her to run off, but she was rational and mature about everything.

Grayson was an amazing hero! The way he slowly worms his way into Reece's heart was wonderful to read! He was such a good hero! Reece was so confident and I loved that about her.

Reese Hearst left Lonesome Point far behind to prove herself on the rodeo circuit and avoid the small town, small-minded judgement of a community who only saw the worst in her. It's been twelve years, but her latest potentially career ending injury has her sneaking back home while her family's away, trying to come up with a plan to get back on the road and back to bull riding.

Grayson Parker has his hands full with a failing ranch and a sister whose abusive marriage has fallen apart, but when

I love this series. The men are all hot, hot, hot cowboys and the women are strong and passionate. This can be read as a stand alone, but the series is so good you will want to read them all. I love Jessie's writing style. She can always make me fall in love with the characters early in the story and keep me hooked till the end. Always leaves me ready for the next one!

Wow! Glitter and Grit...where do I begin? This is the fourth full-length novel in Jessie Evans' Lonesome Point series, and OMG she has totally outdone herself. Though I loved each of the other couples throughout this series, Ms. Evans has taken us to an entirely new level of character complexity and romance, not to mention, at times, heart-wrenching emotion.

Both Reece and Grayson have suffered from unthinkable pain and loss in the past. Though Grayson has reached a point in his life of acceptan

In book 3, Diamonds & Dust, we learned that Tulsi’s older sister Reece was a professional rodeo bull rider. I was stoked because I knew this heroine would be tough as nails, living on the road as a traveling cowgirl in a male dominated sport/profession. She has a worse relationship with her father than Tulsi ever did and we soon learn why, making you dislike Dale Hearst even more and his wife for being a doormat.

Glitter and Grit. Guys this story was so much better than I expected, and I knew it was gonna be good because Jessie is writing some damn fine cowboys in this series! But it was so much more, in some ways it was as unexpected as I think Reece and Grayson were surprised at the depth of their connection. Reece is feisty and a loner and determined to not connect with anyone past the moment, but there was something about Grayson that I think grabbed her from the moment she sat down on that barstool. ...more

No one should ever have to go through that and I couldn't even begin to imagine being in her shoes. Good on her to take life into her own hands and no let it control her. This series has fast become one of those that I can’t wait to grab the next installments in the series, and each book just keeps getting better than the last!

Glitter and Grit is a great mix of cowboy (or bull rider), a bit of suspense, small town setting, and a military connection.

Reece Hearst hasn’t been home since she left town in a rush twelve years before. And while she isn't looking forward to being laid low with an injury, she at least can avoid the hurts of her past.
