Since the day Harlequin bought her first novel, Kathleen has published more than 30 titles with them- everything from hot, sexy contemporaries to dark, brooding suspense. Read in more than 30 countries and 29 languages, she's a five-time finalist for the prestigious RWA RITA Award, a winner of the Maggie Award, and a three-time finalist for Romantic Times' Reviewer's Choice.

Kathleen comes from a family of writers, poets, and journalists- though she may be the one shameless romantic in the bunch. A true Cancer, she values home and family above everything and wouldn't dream of ditching a single friend, memory, gift, or love letter. Consequently, her office is a mess, full of books, colored cut glass, photo albums, Madame Alexander dolls, and a cockatiel who whistles the theme from "The X Files." She is addicted to Mozart and Elvis, Dancing With the Stars, Dorothy Dunnett novels, and sugar-free Popsicles.

I purchased a copy of Hometown Hero (Love in Montana #1; Montana Born Homecoming #3; A Year of Love in Marietta book 1; Firefighters of Montana book 2 Scorch/Vincent ) by Dani Collins and this review was given freely.
A misunderstanding and indiscrete comments result in a rocky runion for injured major league pitcher Chase who has returned to Marietta Montana to watch over his brother and in the process reunites with the high school crush he did not pursue, the now highschool secretary, Skye. Such topics as under age drinking, Alocholism, acknowledging gay orientation, vindictive jealousy, and overcoming fears to obtain and maintain a loving relationship are discussed in this steamy second chance at love sports related romance.

Hometown Hero, by Dani Collins
kye Wolcott planned to marry, have children, and live happy ever after in her hometown of Marietta, Montana. Then her marriage imploded in a cloud of scandal. Now she’d be happy if people would just stop talking about her.

Chase Goodwin worked hard to get away from Marietta, where poverty colored his past. Living his dream as a major league baseball player, he has no reason to return beyond helping his half-brother escape as successfully. The last thing Chase would consider is staying.

Then he sees Skye Wolcott, a girl he always had a thing for in high school. They get off to a rough start, but are soon carrying on like high schoolers. Chase wants her to join his fast-paced, larger than life world, but Skye’s a small town girl at heart. Can she convince him that Homecoming is more than a game, and he’s back where he belongs?

I read each of these stories when they were originally released. I already own the whole set individually. Getting them in a set is a great deal. Below are my reviews from a couple of the stories contained in this set.
Sing Me Back Home:
Maya and Jack - high school sweethearts who broke up after graduation. She's divorced and he's a widower, both with daughters the same age - when Maya moves back to Marietta. Sparks instantly fly between the two.
I really enjoyed this story. Maya was great and tough even when she gets mad at Jack. Their teenage daughters were great as well. I love stories where "the one that got away" gets caught again.
Hometown Hero:
I loved this story. Skye and Chase both had crushes on each other in high school but neither one ever did anything to pursue it. Now they are adults - she is divorced and working at the school, and he is a professional baseball player. They run into each other while he is in Marietta resting from an injury and checking up on his little brother.
These characters were both so lovable. I really liked how down to earth Chase was considering his status as a well known ball player. The story was nice and sweet and I found myself getting a tad choked up at the end.

I've read these stories individually, I'll feature a couple:

Home For Good

Joelle makes a promise to her father on his deathbed, but fulfilling that promise may destroy her Montana family ranch. Complicating things is her need to make a business decision, and fast, but torn by the love/hate feelings she has for Matt. Matt has a way of showing her how to make everything work and keep the promise, but she's not convinced.

As she comes to terms with the past and opens her heart, she realizes it would be a mistake to sellout for her dream, when her dream and more is already in front of her. This was a great story.

The Long Way Home

Abby moved away and married into money at her father's request. But, life didn't work out the way she expected, husband's gone, father died, and now she's back in town. She runs into Joe, the guy she really loved all those years ago--what she wouldn't give for a few days of passion during Homecoming weekend. But, he's not necessarily ready to open his heart again, especially wen he sees his brother about to follow in his form teenage footsteps. But time has a way to find forgiveness and rekindle love.

I have read all of these books when they came out individually, loved them all. I highly recommend this bundle of books. My two favorites are

Sing Me Back Home
A heart warming second chance love story between a widower and a divorcee. High school sweethearts are reunited in their hometown when Maya moves back home with her teenage daughter. Jack is the family doctor in Marietta, widowed for five years also with a teenage daughter. Maya is ready to move on with her love life but Jack is still living in the past. A wonderful story of healing and moving forward.

Finding Home
Samara with daughter, Jade returns to Marietta because it was the closest thing that she had to to everything, Logan took for granted. Instead of a soft peaceful landing she got a house that wasn't ready and a man that she also was not ready for.
Loved this book, well written characters and it was great to be back in Marietta. I really enjoyed the character Bob, ok so he was a dog but Roxanne always includes them.
