I lent my heart to the bad boy, and he did exactly what I expected he would. He broke it.

And the guy I should have been with—he’s still here. He tries to take my mind off everything I’ve lost while showing me what I could have. I’m ready for a new start, to fall in love again … to do what I should have done in the first place.

Everything seems perfect.

Then the past comes wa

The trouble with love triangles...

My guy didn’t’ get the girl and so I’m pouting big time.

Many readers will be happy with the outcome. I however felt that the heroine picked wrong.

Lies Unspoken (Flawed Love #1) - my review

Ahahahhhhhaa.... I finally get some peace after that dreadful cliffy in book one. Love triangles, you gotta love them. So much drama and angst.

“Love is complicated, and in its best form, it’s unspoken.”

Book 2 picks right up where book 1 ended. Lila is broken. She's devastated over the loss of Blake. Now she must try to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart and move on. But how can a love so strong and complete, move on without it's other h

"Life is a journey for which we leave little pieces of ourselves behind. We write words in every chapter then leave them to continue to the next. It's our legacy, and if we're lucky enough, we'll meet someone special to take the ride with".

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Lisa De Jong can write a story like nobody's business. Her words are very poetic and her stories to me,always feel effortless. For this one it was the same thing, BUT call me a sore

“Love is complicated, and in its best form, it’s unspoken.”

I read both these books back to back and I am glad that I did, I don’t think I could have waited for Love Unspoken to be released. This is one of those stories whereby the author pulls you in to these characters lives and they just take over. For the hours that I spent devouring these two books all I could think about were Lila, Blake and Pierce.

After i finished the first book i was really excited for this one! The teasers were driving me when i finally got love unspoken in my hands, i squealed! really loud.

i started reading... it was so tense and full of suspense. I'm going to say i wasn't fan of Pierce in the first book. i hated him even though he was a good guy. i wanted lila to be with Blake so everytime i read a scene with lila and left a bitter taste in my mouth. i was so

OMG! I really love this story. The 1st book was sooo amazing and LOVE UNSPOKEN didn’t disappoint me, at some pages, yes because I’ve waited long enough for Blake to comeback!

(And I must assume that if you’re reading this, you might already read the 1st book, there will be some book1 spoilers ahead, and some sort of book two spoilers, too.)

Usually my gut is spot on when it comes to the deciding factor as to which lover is going to end up with the girl. My gut tells me who the best guy is from the beginning of a story and I never waiver. In this case, I couldn’t go with my instinct. Both guys were winning me over. Of course Blake broke my heart at the end of the first book, so Pierce had it pretty easy to swoon me but he is a heckuva nice guy, full of class, and a very attentive lover. I didn’t want him

Oh wow! I loved it, I hated it, and I'm left with mixed emotions. It ended how I imagined it would, but it still left bittersweet feelings. How could it not when you have three characters so closely interwoven by such heavy doses of angst, anger, ill-will and deep feelings of love connecting the triangle. And each of them comes across well-developed with strong personalities. Each one has their own set of highs and lows, along with positives and negatives.

I probably had the hardest time relating

I have been waiting for almost a year for the continuation of this story. And damn it was well worth it.

Everything picks up where Lies Unspoken ended. And moves full speed ahead.

Lila is still torn over Blake’s decision to walk away. But she’s also torn over her feelings for Pierce.

Blake is her worst decision. Pierce is the perfect choice. But what happens when you love both men I’m different ways?

Blake reappears when Lila chooses to move on, with Pierce. Neither man is willing to give up without

Love Unspoken, sequel to Lies Unspoken, starts off a few months after the previous story ends. The author does a good job with reflection and not "re telling" the story so I was pulled back into the story immediately. Though the second installment was O.K. it fell short from the first and relied too heavily on the previous books character development. Yes, the story was to move forward however readers still need to see those characteristics that make the characters who they are. The characters w ...more

I loved the love triangle in this book. However I really tried to like Blake and I am still trying to like him. I honestly liked Pierce more even though I tend to like the anti-hero most of the time. Overall I liked the books, not so much outcome.

This book literally split me in two. One minute I was rooting for Pierce to get the girl the next minute it was Blake I'm still not 100% sure who I wanted to win her heart in the end.

This book picks up 6 months after Blake has left and Lila finally begins to think maybe it time she began to moved on. Her relationship with Pierce is still a little up in the air but he makes it perfectly clear that when the times

Blake redeemed himself. I didn't think it was possible, but Lisa De Jong made me want Lila and Blake back together.

At the end of LIES UNSPOKEN Blake had left Lila and pretty much broken her. When we catch up with Lila in LOVE UNSPOKEN, it's six months later and it looks likes she's managed to turn her life around designing like she's wanted in Pierce's firm and finally moving on from Blake. But you know that status quo can't stay, because w

Let me start by saying, I was REALLY excited for this story.. The first of this series left us all like.... W.T.H.
I wanted to ask Lisa De Jong why she hated us all so much leaving us hanging like that- why "HE" left and broke all our hearts into a million pieces. So this picks up where she dropped us in book 1. I was SO #TeamBlake after book 1. In fact, I kind of thought Pierce was a creep and needed him to go away-however she needed to make that happen. Then I start this book and somehow Lisa

Love Unspoken was one of my most anticipated releases for 2015. After reading Lies Unspoken and being left a complete mess, I NEEDED to read Love Unspoken to find out how this mess of a love triangle ends.

In the sequel, Lila is trying to put herself back together and she throws herself into the design project that she has been working on with Pierce. I personally never liked Pierce. I think he was just a little bit stiff personality-wise and I didn’t t

**I received an ARC for an honest review.**

I am going to start out with why this book is getting the 3.5 stars when I really didn't care for it until the end. I think Blake redeemed himself when he finally fully opened up. I think the secrets of his past gave him a bit of a pass to be the man he was, but it doesn't justify all of his actions in my eyes. It just helps better understand where he is coming from. I think if I would have been able to read his POV instead of just Lila's this

I absolutely LOVED these books! They were so damn addictive.
Unfortunately with love triangles there's always someone who loses out in the end. And boy did I feel terrible for that person in this one.
I'm so excited for the novella though, I'm hoping it involves a certain someone!!!
