Not a second after I finished this book I was emailing the author looking into the next one, and the same second it was in my hands I was invested! The story so far has been truly amazing and I’ve loved every second of it. As a sequel Revived has more action, more emotion, more mystery and intrigue; more awesomeness basically.

What has really made these books stand out is how much emotion they evoke f

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I just finished this book after midnight here, and I wanted to write my review right away while it was all still fresh on my mind. Anyone who might have been concerned that this series would fall into second book slump can completely set their minds to rest. This book upped the game on so many levels, that I actually believe it was better than the first in some ways.

Once again, Roya is called upon to put her life in jeopardy in order to go on a crazy-scary-dangerous mission. Thi

Oh my god! Sarah Noffke strikes again! This book was amazing! Totally not what I thought it would go about! This book was awesome and thrilling, a lot of turns, (view spoiler) I loved how this book was written and I am so reading the next one right now! WHOA! This book's title can BEST describe my reaction to the ending.... STUNNED!

I am very grateful to the author, Ms. Sarah Noffke, for the opportunity to read her books from the blog tour to this one. ^___^ Thank you so much for the copy. I am lucky I guess, not all get to find a series to love, but I promise this series have now my heart.

Before starting this book, I have braced myself for enlightenment, more truths and stuff to learn about the Institute and especially about the characters. I g

This is the 2nd book in the Lucidites series, and again, a good one. However, I have to admit I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first volume. The first volume was mostly action and sci fi with a hint of romance, whereas in this one the romance takes more of a center stage with a complicated love triangle and more relationship issues than previously. This one is a slightly more typical YA. I think this series is probably a case of men enjoying the first volume most and women would probably l ...more

I loved this book! The authors writing and idea is amazing! I couldn't get enough of it!! The fight was awesome, I couldn't put the book down! I love George and Aiden! Along with all of her other character! Roya and Joseph, Beve, Samara, Trent (he's so funny!) Her evil characters were... Evil. It sent chills down my spine! And that only happens with good books!

*****The author provided a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.*****

Close to a 4.5, so I rounded up. Stunned was very much like a roller coaster. The first couple of chapters went really slow … not in a bad way because it was clear that Noffke was leading up to something. Then all of a sudden something happened, and the wild ride began. There were a couple of dips where the action calmed down (just long enough for you to catch your breath), and then the action picked right bac

Ally (The Scribbling Sprite)
Roya Stark thought her problems were over after she and her team defeated Zhuang. Now she can finally relax, leave the horrible Institute, and get back to a relatively normal life—right?

Maybe not. Having been persuaded to stay and help work on her brother's secret project, Roya's not a happy camper. But that's the least of her worries when a head official is captured by a secret society of Dream Travelers. Added to that, her brother's getting sick. Roya witnesses him waste away while he won't e

What happens when the chosen one fulfills her prophesy? Well …
Nothing really. At least this is what it seems to be at first. Roya is counting down the days she is required to physically remain at the institute and these days seem to drag on. With everyone else working on some new project or job, Roya is left to herself, and left out. After being needed by everyone, being needed by no one is hard to adjust to.

Roya doesn’t trust the institute, but the institute houses her

While the idea behind it was great, and the execution was also well done, I found it a little lacking in the action. I guess this was similar to the first book, with a big (and brilliantly written) build up, and a very small short "duel", as such. Then there was a lot of romance-life concentrated

My Review

A wonderful sequel to Sarah Noffe's Awoken, I truly enjoyed this read! The story picked up where the first in the series left off. The Lucidites were back in control and Zhuang defeated, everyone attempted to go back to normal. Roya felt a little rudderless while her brother and all her friends worked on assignments. She resented being stuck at the Institute and when her relationship with both Aiden and George becomes even more strained and confusing, a unhappy Roya decides to go and li

Stunned is even more fantastic than it's predecessor! As Roya's tale continues, new characters and locations are introduced that are not only unique, but add an intriguing dimension to the wonderful world Mrs. Noffke has created.

In Awoken, the first book in the Lucidites series, the danger was immediate and singular in the form of Zhuang. However, in Stunned, you get the sense that the world contains elusive darkness with enemies lurking around every corner. There are images in this book that

Stunned picks up after the events of Awoken. Zhuang has been defeated, and the Lucidites are attempting to get things back to how they were. Roya’s friends and her brother, Joseph, have all been given assignments to work on over summer and are settling in at the institute. Roya, however, doesn’t quite know what to do. She has nothing to work on, and left feeling like a spare part

Her feelings for Aiden are complicated and she finds it difficult to accept that anything between the two of them must

The second book in the Lucidite series is an exciting and suspenseful adventure. Roya and her group is once again called upon to complete a dangerous mission. This time it is to rescue the Lucidites scientist, Aiden, who is also Roya's on again, off again love interest. Aiden has been captured by the Voyagers, a break away group of mentally talented Lucidites who want the technology that the scientist can provide. The great twists and turns and ongoing character development is amazing. I love Re ...more

I greatly enjoyed this second adventure with Roya and company! I would almost say it was good for all ages but there's a little bit of "strong language". Maybe more of a PG-13 rating is appropriate.

Ms. Noffke can certainly spin a fascinating yarn! From the first book, Awoken, the rather angst-ridden love triangle among Roya, Aiden, and George was expounded upon. (view spoiler)

Well it just keeps getting better and better. I seriously love this series. I cannot stop thinking about it, it's keeping it up at night and I tend to just read instead of sleep so I finish faster.
Roya is such a strong character and I love everything about her. All the characters again compliment each other but to be fair I really like George more then Aiden. It annoys me every time Roya just lets Aiden do his thing but that is who she is and well just have to see how it plays out.

That couldn't have been the ending. I always suspected something. But that was not it. It sure came as a surprise.

Ok, now you can open your eyes :)

I loved this second installment. And I sincerely still don't know who I want more, Aiden or George!
Well, you could even sign me up for Chase, I'll take that gorgeous psychopathic hunk off Roya's shoulders. She's got
I just love Sarah Noffke’s writing style and the way everything flows, never choppy or hard to understand. I can’t wait to read more from Sarah!

Stunned is the second book in the Lucidites series and I loved it just as much as the first! I felt Roya’s pain and struggle of basically suffocating being underground at the Institute and just wanting to go away and not think about the Lucidites and the battle she just completed with Zhuang. You’d think the girl would deserve some time off!

Just when Roya thinks she can get out there and have a peaceful life....BAM. Another mission. Sorry, girl, you have to save the world again. The description is correct. This novel is action PACKED. I love every minute of it. There is drama, fighting, secrecy, French-accented bad guys, and mystical powers. I was/am sold! I read it in one day, if I remember correctly. Oh my word! This was such a good book. I was a bit afraid to read it after Awoken because I was scared it wouldn’t be as good. But WOW! That is the word I thought when I finished. Wow! It was really well written with loads of suspense and twists. I am so going to cry when this series is over because I love the characters so much and I really don’t want it to end. I was planning on savouring the last one but after that ending I just can’t not read it!
I would really, really recommend this book! S

Wow this book is Stunning. Sarah sure knew what she was doing when she picked the name to this book. it had lots of twists in it.i felt sorry for Roya in this one. Aiden is ignoring Roya for Amber. Joseph is disappearing after convincing Roya to stay. Her friends have assignments and shes left alone. Then theres a kidnapping and Roya is put in charge with their return. And that ending almost had me falling off my bed when I read/listened to it. I cant wait to start book 3.

The world building and technological advancement is even more detailed than in the first book. The lies, secrets, and mysteries behind the Institute makes it feel more sinister than safe. The uncertainty tarnishes the overall image of what should be a haven for the Lucidites and gives Roya’s apprehension validity.

Stunned is Book 2 in The Lucidites series and it's even better than the first. Seriously intriguing, dark, and suspenseful, while simultaneously being heart wrenching, funny, and endearing, Stunned is an absolute page turner. Roya in all her imperfection, is somehow the perfect YA heroine.

If you are a fan of similar series in the YA genre, you really need to check out the entire The Lucidites Series.

Love, love, love these books!

I should just stop reviewing free books of genres I don't like.
This was YA to the extreme, and didn't sit well with me.

The polar ends of supergirl that can fight / clairvoyance / protect the world vs this irritating love triangle.

Basically there wasn't much that enticed me in the book until the last 10 minutes, which is about something totally different to what the whole book was about, and just throws the door wide open, bridging book 1 into book 3.
