I read this to my four year old to get him interested in tying his shoes but it just talks about how cool they are and not the how. I love that it rhymes! My son loved the illustrations.

Has many illustrations of shoelaces, doesn't show you how to tie them though. Reminds me of give a man a fish, keep him going for a week, teach a man how to fish, keep him fed for a lifetime. Some rhymes included within text, otherwise, nothing more than a mediocre book.
