Zelenka reluctantly finds himself aboard the Starship Apollo as part of Colonel Carter's drive to survey the area of space surrounding Atlantis' new planet. It's a sensible idea, he understands that - but it's also very dull. Dull that is, until the ship discovers an entirely new life form...

Radek-centric story! Wooo! I need more of these in my life. David Nykl did an amazing job and his Radek-impression-of-McKay is to die for; so hilarious.

I think this is going to be my favorite story line our of all these Stargate-Big Finish Audios. I think the dynamic between Radek and the Captain Sharp character in this little drama was very illustrative of the differences between the Atlantis/Pegasus team and the SGC/Earth personnel. For some its home and for others its just another duty station and their counting down the days before they move on rather than settling in and trying to understand the mysteries around them.

Vesoljska inteligentna bitja se začnejo zbirati okrog zvezde nad planetom in planet začne zmrzovati. Kapitanka jih če razstrelitv stran od sonca, Zelenka pogrunta boljšo rešitev.

Zelo mi je bla všeč tale !!!

Fantastic classic sci fi wrapped in a stargate skin. Again, this involves characters and plotlines from a season that I don't think I've ever watched but the entire thing was, nevertheless, entirely relatable and understandable. I think I'm going to end up reading every book in this series.

The true genius os the Stargate Atlantis mission saves the day and the whole Atlantis population. Good on you, Zelenka! Way to outdo that irritating dweeb, Rodney McKay!

An audiobook narrated by David Nykl is so much fun! It was a good solid story. I wish there had been more Zelenka on Atlantis.

An excellent sci-fi adventure that was perfectly suited for Zelenka (with very little McKay, yay!). Loved it.

This is an audiobook read by David Nykl aka Doctor Radek Zelenka on Stargate: Atlantis. And it's really great. It introduces a classic scifi plot - the crew of the Apollo encounters a new life form - that's emphasized through sound effects and atmospheric music. What I also liked was the fact that in this book, the differences between Zelenka and McKay becomes even more pronounced: where McKay raves and rages, Zelenka tries to convince and reason.

If Stargate needs one thing, it's more starfish aliens. I like the Mantas as a continuation of the space as ocean theme of the show and I like the Radek Zelenka focused story because he's a great character who deserves more attention. This is a fun little short story for fans of the show. I'd recommend it.

-The book sets early in the fourth season of Stargate Atlantis-

Amazing book. Specially the banter between Mckay and Zelenka was really fun to listen. It had a great story and a moral lesson. The production value vas great as always. I highly recommend this one!

Zelenka is another one of those characters from SGA that I really like, but who get far too little screen time - so it was high time that Zelenka gets to save the day all on his own for once!
