Children ages 3 to 7 will love this full-color storybook featuring the magical moments of the Disney princesses! The sparkling glitter will pop off the cover and pages—plus it comes with a glittery Disney Princess poster!
Cute little book of winter adventures featuring three Disney princesses.
I came upon this in a Little Free Library near my house. I work with two girls who enjoy princesses so I figured it was worth borrowing.
Overall, it was good. The book includes three short stories with winter-themed plots. The stories are very, very simple and are each only a few pages long. Every other page is adorned with glitter. They mostly pass the glitter test, only a tiny bit came off when I rubbed the page. Not as bad as some books I have seen.
It was fun to see various princesses in new stories and adventures. Story-wise, each of them are very simple- Belle and Beast plan an impromptu party, Pascal brings winter to Rapunzel, and Jasmine, Aladdin, Abu, and the magic carpet experience winter. Not much going on in term of plot or conflict. But they were still cute, especially for young princess fans.
I thought the illustrations were good overall. Some of them are slightly off, like Aladdin's eyes being a bit wonky. But it was nice to see new pictures of the characters in different settings and situations.
The book also includes a cute glitter poster in the back.
My daughter loved reading this book and feeling the texture of the glitter pages. There’s three short stories about Belle, Rapunzel, and Jasmine. It was cute seeing the different ways each princess could spend a winter day.
A little more lengthy when it comes to the story than Sweets & Treats, which has a similar set up to this book. Still, it is a cute and fun book for small children. All the glitter certainly didn't hurt with my little girl. My son wasn't so enamored of it, but he was also cranky and wanted his bed more than his bedtime story. With only 3 princesses highlighted, it isn't the most inclusive of the Disney Princess books, but it's still more than sufficient for it's purpose and length.

Reread review: The stories are sweet. And all follow the winter theme, even if they are a little silly. Original review: Cute winter fun with the princesses. The one with Aladin made me laugh though. Just the fact that they got paper and scissors and made snow flakes. Seems a bit out of place.
A short collection of stories from Disney characters in the winter. With tactile glitter and a colorful spread, this book will easily catch a child's eye.
