Una introducción que mas que una introducción la he comprendido como una pre-estructuración intelectual y metodológica para acceder al mundo de la arqueologia teniendo en cuenta los distintos problemas, errores, clichés, influencias, etc. a los que de somete la ciencia arqueológica en desde sus inicios hace 300 años.
Un lenguaje desenfadado, ilustrativo y cercano hacen del libro una lectura mas llevadera, hablando desde mi nula experiencia previa en una obra de temática plenamente arqueológica.

en definitiva, me quedo con la sensación de necesitar una segunda lectura, que aclare y estructure lo que hoy se me queda difuso, y que seguro que con algo más de bagaje se convierte en obvio. Me llevo un autor sencillo y entretenido al que seguramente vuelva a recurrir.

A very good intro text to archaeology for college students or those interested in the methodology and theory of archaeology. It includes both basic elements of archaeology as well as introduces more advanced ones that can be challenging to understand. Overall, I thought it was an informative read and a good use of the time it took to read.

thought i should read a non-fiction book to widen my reading, and i’ve always found archaeology interesting
