This book had an interesting plot. The old miner uncle, married his niece off by proxie to 3 different men. He dies, leaves his mines to her and the men come to claim their bride. The 3 stars is because of the plot, but it was not very well written, at least not for me.

I very much enjoyed this story. I quite literally laughed out loud several times while reading it. That alone makes it worth the read! I like a lead woman character that has some gumption! And her dog is the best :)

Good book

very good book. kinda wish there was more to the story. but it is defiantly a mature reader's book. I feel like the characters would have a good story if it had been continued (I.e. sequel).

Maggie and McCready...what a pair. I enjoyed this book for the most part although was getting a bit tired of the marriage by proxy angle by the middle of the book let alone the end! Maggie was an entertaining heroine though and I will be looking out for others by this author.

This story was good, I really enjoyed the ending they are a great pair with deep back stories that add to the characters. And the chemistry between the main characters was great. Would read another book by this author.

This is a good, interesting book. There were aspects that were a bit corny, but I enjoyed Maggie's strength and loved her dog. I would recommend this author.
