You may have read fembot stories before. But you’ve never read one like this.

Paul Dawson lost his wife in a tragic car accident 18 months ago, leaving him alone to raise his three kids. Lonely but still bereaved, he’s been unable to find a way past his grief, and Paul’s kids—especially his teenage daughter Alisa—have resisted his efforts to begin dating again.

Shelves: my-books
This is a novella that I wrote on the spur of the moment, intending it to be a relatively short story. But Selena had other ideas, and it blossomed into something quite different than what I envisioned. I tried to imagine what would happen if you dropped a robot like this into an existing family—what kind of emotions would it generate? While this is as erotic as my other stuff, it's an unusual piece of erotica in that respect. I hope you enjoy it. ...more

Recommends it for: Any adult who appreciates well-written erotica
eGirl tells the story of Paul, a thirty-something widower with young twin boys and a fourteen year old girl who has been forced to mature far too quickly after the death of her mother. Paul is a devoted father who tries his best to care for his kids’ physical and emotional needs, putting his own needs second. Until he wins Selena, and advanced AI robot at a football game. After that, Selena can provide for everyone’s needs – especially Paul’s. The spoilers will come later, but there is a surpris ...more

(Disclosure and disclaimer: I was a last-minute beta reader for this novella, and the published version differs in some ways from the version I read. I have not yet seen the final version, but I understand the changes to be minor details that do not affect my review.)

I have often, if quietly, lamented the state of erotica as a genre, especially when it is self-published. Too much of it escapes any editorial process at all, appearing to have been dashed out in a rush and put up for sale the same

Shelves: romance
This is an absolutely beautifully written story that takes a sensitive and tender look at the relationship that develops between a widower with three kids and an artificial life-form "e-girl" that he wins during a football game and takes into his home. Selena manages to fill an emptiness in his children's lives since the loss of their mother and provide him with both emotional and sexual companionship. There are erotic scenes in this story but this is far more than a "I won a sex robot" type of ...more

Fun and heartfelt

I enjoyed this book. I was surprised with the tenderness of the author's portrayal of an AI, not human but with emotions.

Cute if a bit pervy. I guess that's the point. This is a short erotic ebook with a robot twist or something. It was cheap, so I can say that. Though this book has the same problems as a lot of books in this genre when it dives into genres that can pose deeper questions and that is what is the ethics of having a relationship with basically a cute toaster mean? The sex scenes are well written, and actually the basic writing of even the nonsexual scenes isn't bad at all. Even the main character, a ...more

Bitter sweet

This is a very hot story but with heart. As a remarried widower i quickly identified with the main character and fully understand his fantasies and the emotions involved. I was clearly not expecting the emotional message and the longing for closure after such a loss. Parts were quite funny such as family interactions and a certain event at a football game. All I'll say about the ending is that you won't be disappointed! I may even re-read this some day. Check out Vector also by the s

Rolled the dice on this one, but it's short so it was low-risk. Turns out to be a rather touching story of a family dealing with the loss of their mother/wife. With a bunch of sex that you can see coming, but that last bit wasn't my take-away. Upshot: if you've experienced loss in your family there may be something here for you, and it's a quick read. ...more
