I am absolutely a sucker for paranormal romance so I'm always on the hunt for one that is well written and sexy. I definitely think Nikki's Fated fits the bill on both counts. The story is not overly complex but contains a kaleidoscope of depth because of the diverse character dynamics. You will love Mason and hate Luke...at first. I never wanted to throttle anyone more than Luke. To find your mate, only to find he doesn't want to be with you is bad enough. Being forced to join with him against his will for the good of the pack is worse. Thank God that Fate isn't that cruel and made Mason her mate too. Nikki's Fated by Suzette Rose Cauler, is a hot read that left me checking my kindle for any signs that it might be overheated. The sex scenes are scorching and the romance is steamy. This is one book that I didn't want to put down. The storyline and the well developed characters, kept my attention and had me wishing there was more. The sex scenes in this book are plenty in more ways than one, there is a good vs bad vibe in the book as there's something in the future threatening the newly formed clan, there's a couple of troublemakers, a mate that's not sure he wants to be mated & one that does.

I have never wanted to just choke the living tar out of a character in a book before, but Luke made me so discusted with his behavior. He was just so selfish and whiny. I hated him and even though he changed his tune and made up to Nikki, I still don't like him. LOL I really liked this book. I got so involved with the dynamics between Nikki, Mason and Luke that I almost forgot that it was fiction. :) Ms Cauler did a fantastic job. Bravo!

I really enjoyed this story. The characters came alive. I feel like, even though the paranormal element was added in that everyone really acted very true to life. The desire to ignore our duties is something I think we can all relate to. Highly enjoyable read.
