I'm a fan of Robert Louis Stevenson's poems and I have reason to believe that he is just a kid at heart, especially with Treasure Island. I love the colorful and unforgettable characters and the swashbuckling pirate adventure. It's definitely one that you'll read to your kids in the future.

Never read this before... puts so many contemporary pirate references into context! A classic must-read for any 10-year old boy. :)
