Some teens go to the Caribbean on spring break. Piper goes to save the world.

Piper Dunn isn’t who you would call a normal teenager. For one thing, she doesn’t want anyone to know she was born with a blowhole. Even stranger, she has two love interests. Joel, a fellow dolphin-human hybrid, and Tyler, a human.

It’s hard to choose when a mad scientist is hot on Piper’s trail.

I’ve been waiting for the final book in this engaging YA trilogy and it was a delight. All the characters I’ve grown to love are back again along with some new ones. There is plenty of danger as “dolps” Joel and Piper, along with their dolp daughter Angel and Piper’s boyfriend Tyler head to the Caribbean. If that combination of characters sounds a little complicated, it is. One of the threads I was eager to see play to a conclusion was the love triangle between Joel, Piper and Tyler. The third novel in this YA science fiction trilogy finds Piper, Joel, and Angel, their test tube baby, in the Caribbean trying to escape the clutches of Dr. Stranger and Craven. Will they finally be free of them, or will the pair find them? And ultimately, who will Piper choose? Will it be Tyler, or will it be Joel?

With them are Tyler, Gramps, and a few new characters (Molita and Mina) join in their adventures after Joel, Piper, and Angel land on one of the islands of Turks and Caicos after a vi

Piper is a dolphin-human hybrid, called a dolph. She and her friends are on the run from the scientist who created the dolphs. Her friends include her human boyfriend Tyler, her baby daughter Angel, dolph siblings Joel and Amy, and her human grandfather. Angel was recently created in a lab, from Piper and Joel's DNA, and seems to have many new abilities. They'll have to deal with strange storms, voodoo, and love triangles. Note that though it's generally a light book, there are some scenes of me ...more

Good grief. Same crazy cast of characters except now add in voodoo, the Bermuda Triangle and a fast growing child.

**I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review**

I'm really torn on how I feel about this book. This is the first book I have read in this series, which was an issue because the book starts off right in the middle of the story, and assumes you know the entire story. By the end of the book I felt that I understood most of what was going on, but I still felt a bit confused. Another thing that bothered me was how suddenly the book would change tone. Sometimes it would be funn

Love, Lattes, and Angel, the third installment in the Mutants series, perfectly concludes Piper’s adventures with an imaginative blend of fantasy and romance. The plot takes Piper, Joel, and their daughter Angel, all dolphin mutants, through the Bermuda Triangle to an idyllic tropical island, where they meet a voodoo priestess. Author Sandra Cox expertly weaves descriptions of island life and the undersea world into this nonstop tale of danger and romance that accelerates to the end, where the m ...more

This is a great book written by Sandra Cox. This book is part of the Mutants series. Piper Dunn isn’t your normal teenager. She is part dolphin and now has a mad scientist on her trail. She ends up getting trapped in the Bermuda Triangle. Can her and her test tube daughter, Angel make it out to safety? If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

I love this series. This is book 3, and just as original, funny, exciting and charming as the first two. Now there's Angel in the mix, and my, what a character. She made me smile throughout the book.

I really recommend reading them in sequence, because the story picks up in one book where the previous one left off, and you would miss a lot of the background if you read as a stand alone.

Okay

It was disappointing and a little too predictable. The island magic was interesting, and it wouldn't surprise me if there was another book about Molita. However, I think I'm done with dolphin stories.
