This book has certainly earned the #Epic tag - at over 600 pages this is a book that you can submerge yourself into. However, it certainly doesn't feel like that amount when you are reading it as the pages almost turn themselves as the story carries you along.

The characters are all well-developed and grow throughout the story as they have to learn how to work together, using and acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses. There are not only the four human main characters, but also we have four

I just read it and is so pretty cool, I really like the wiccan alike references, and im shipping marcella x kai already they're so explosive together I hope they end together or something.

the characters are nicely done and interesting, they all have different personalities and that gave them a human like dimension.

it is super fun and all the problems they have are interesting and you can relate a lot.

Loved the cliffhanger at the end, it have me very excited to know what the next book will bring

I have to admit that this book took me by surprise! I didn't expect for it to be THAT good! I really enjoyed the worlds Morgan has created and all the main characters that were involved.

Ms Sheppard has created a book that told us stories from 4 different realms. Where normally an author would create 4 different books, she decided to be bold and has created one amazing and interesting book.

Here all the time something happens and it helps

Water Weaver by Morgan Sheppard

What an amazing book. It is well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. It kept me captivated from the first page through the last.

The characters were easy to get to know. I fell in love with the main 4 characters right away. The book takes you on an amazing journey, and I really enjoyed watching the characters learn and grow. The characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through are portrayed extremely wel

I loved this! Morgan Sheppard weaves a YA fantasy story of a world that needs the characters to complete challenges while discovering their strengths and how to work together. The addition of animal life partners is brilliant. The story flows extremely well, the characters are easy to love and support and will leave you biting your nails while in danger, struggling to complete their quest and return stability to their world. I had to put it down to sleep and dreamed about it, the wonderful world ...more

Water Weaver is a lovely YA Fantasy, filled with amazing characters and not all of them are human. This epic tale will take you on a journey of discovery as the four main characters and their four life partners strive not only to bring balance back to the world but have to learn how to work together to achieve success.
Beautifully unique ideas and a great read.

I loved Nixie!

Epic Fantasy meets sweet romance meets humor. This book was absolutely wonderful! Okay it’s long, it’s really long, but there isn’t a point in the book that drug or didn’t hold my attention. I was intrigued the entire book, from start to finish. There is action, there is incredible detail, there is some great romance that keeps you

Loved this story! Water Weaver pulled me in immediately. I could easily see the world Ms. Sheppard brought to the readers, even more by time I hit Chapter 2, which went into detail of the festival. Very colorful, and I felt like I was right there. The way the characters thought and went about their lives definitely had you reminded that you had your nose stuck into an alternate world of magic and mystery.

I haven’t ready many young adult novels, but I have to say that the author captured the ess

Oh Wow!!!  I think the author must have written before because this is such a great debut novel.
If you love fantasy you will fall into this whirling pool of magical realms and just not want to climb out of it again!
I loved the way all the characters except Marella appear so happy at home, but there is so much more to everyone than they want to admit,  or in some cases know themselves.
I love the character of the partners and Nixie particularly.

I loved this book! The world-building and imagery alone kept my attention. The way Ms. Sheppard painted her world is so gorgeously vivid, helping me see everything! Sometimes in epic fantasy the characters become lost in magnificent worlds, but not in this one. Marella is such a strong MC and her relationships with the other three main characters, Darin, Lani, and Kai (OMG!) are believable and really are the heart of the story. Add these amazing characters with the elemental magic of water, eart ...more

Water Weaver is an epic fantasy with great characters and a story worth reading. Morgan Sheppard's ability to create this imaginary world blew me away. Her scenes are vivid which easily pulled me into the story from page one. We have the elemental powers here: water, earth, wind, and fire, Parings, and romance—which is what I love most in stories. Marella is a strong character and the relationship with Darin, Lani, and Kai really drew me in, but now I have to wait for a second book! *insert wail ...more

This was an interesting fantasy to read. I think the story is woven together in such a way that my curiosity stayed on high alert. I had to keep reading it because I really wanted to know how all the pieces would fit together. I think the characters a well developed and stay true throughout the story. The concept is unique enough to honor the fantasy tropes without being so far out there that I scratched my head wondering what was going on. I do think this book could have been divided into two t ...more

Somewhere between Oz and Narnia, and not that far from the little alley that takes you to Hogwart’s, is a beautiful island called Wraidd Elfennol. The way that Rick Riordan brings to life the traditions of the Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Norse, Morgan Sheppard pulls her readers into the not so forgotten world of the Welsh, where magic is a way of life, and nature is something strong and powerful that must be kept in order. With strong characters and magnificent details, Sheppard takes her rea ...more

I did not know what to expect from the storyline of this book having never read the authors work previous. I am glad to say that it did not disappoint and has left me wanting the next book.

We are told a story about the four Elements, earth, air, fire and water, and the struggle to remain balanced whilst fighting dark forces. 4 beings, The Chosen, are tasked with the job of trying to help save their world. We are told the story about the water weaver and kind of from her perspective. When the gro

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

As a début book this is really quite impressive. It's long, but never lags, the characters are rich and real and the 'adventure' is well structured. When I read a book I'm looking for a story I can disappear into, can live with my characters, people I hope will become friends. This is certainly the case with Water Weaver. The characters have a depth they are not perfect, but they try hard and I can relate to that. As an epic fantasy i

Marella and her otter, Nixie, embark on an quest to find missing artefacts or create new ones. An epic fantasy adventure with a beautifully crafted story line with a strong MC. Marella has a wonderful relationship with the other character of the book and held great interest to me. Morgan Sheppard was brave in her debut novel and it paid off in this wonderful and beautiful book.

This was an interesting read for me. It was clear the author is not from the US as the terminology and spelling of certain words outed her. However, rather than detracting from the story, these minor differences enhanced the reading experience for me. The story itself was good but confusing at first. Little build up was given to explain who was who and what the relationships with each other were. I eventually pieced them all together but found myself rereading bits in an attempt to discover if I ...more
