Christo and Zeke. Eh. I was definitely missing something because I was looking forward to Christo's story and I wasn't left feeling all giddy. :( They were apart more than together. Christo was being too handsy for me in the beginning. Christo said just talk and that's not what happened. Give your mate some space. Geez. I like possessive/protective Alpha males, but I don't like them taking advantage. That's what I felt like was happening and it I didn't like the feeling I was getting.
I ADORED Aiden and I want his story...PRONTO! Wonder who his mate is going to be, cause we all know he HAS to get his own story.
Isla's story is next :)

I wish we had actually gotten more time with Christo and Zeke - they spent a lot of time apart. I did, however, really like the fact that the sex didn't come until close to the end of the story and didn't take up half of the story space. This has always been a gripe of mine with authors like Lynn Hagen, and while I realize that she is an erotic romance author, she has intriguing stories that I really want to see more of. Too often though, they are overwhelmed by the sex. (It is also why I tend to gripe about the editing, or lack of. A lot of these authors have good stories to tell, with the proper editing they could have great stories. So my griping comes not from a dislike of the author, but more from the fact that I actually do like them and am disappointed because their books could be so much better with just a little extra attention.)
I was expecting something...different?...more?... from Christo's story, but I did really enjoy it so I don't mean to complain.

La verdad es que Zeke y Christo fueron super lindos y su relación me gustó mucho particularmente porque fue lenta y no tan abrupta como la de los demás😅
Me muero por conocer más de Aiden y tengo la sospecha de que también tendremos historia de Chase (o eso espero, por lo menos🤣).

I'm a huge Lynn Hagen fan and I love Christian's cove but this book was a bit of a disappointment. I couldn't get a feel for the storyline between the MC and it felt like it was missing the connection that her other books usually have. It left me feeling bleh...

I doooo have questions!
His brother Aiden mentions a pull towards the club..never expanded on it..perhaps part of the deeper mystery? Othwise the main thing missing for me was seeing Zeke exploring Christo as this is his mate AND the only time he'd been with a male, as previous straight guy.

Ay, realmente amé esta pareja. Me gustó mucho que no fuera todo sobre sexo y que se tomaran su tiempo, llevar las cosas con calma, se sintió bonito de leer cómo iba progresando su relación y la confianza entre ellos. Debo decir, también, que amé al hermanito de Zeke, Aiden, ¡y espero que tenga su propio libro a futuro!

Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each):

Zeus's Pack
Demon Warriors
The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.

I will admit that Zeke took a little bit for me to like in this story. He was a grown man still living at home and allowing his father way too much control for my liking. But I loved just how important family was to him. In spite of his father, he was determined to protect his little brother. And when I viewed this character in A Vampire’s Touch through that lens, he became much more likeable. He put up with way more than many would and much of what he put up with didnot allow him the freedom to grow and learn what was important for him. Ms. Hagen showed us a man that was insecure about his needs but strong in his defense of his brothers. Even as he travelled down a road that lead to truths about him that were uncomfortable, Zeke pushed forward. I could not do anything more than respect the man Zeke was becoming even as his world became more dangerous than expected. While Zeke had to grow on me, I loved Christo. He has found his mate but winning him over will take patience. Christo had to walk a fine line so he didn’t overwhelm the man fated to be his. This is the tenth installment in Lynn Hagen’s Christian’s Coven series and is not a stand alone. You will see old friends and meet new enemies. This is a wonderful addition and I am looking forward to seeing where Ms. Hagen will take us next.

Well. ’S okay, I guess.
I can’t really work up that much enthusiasm over these books. Something simply seems to be missing, some genuine connection between the protagonists.
And in this particular case, well. Christo’s not handling this the smartest way, nor the most respectful, in my opinion.
At the same time, what happened to everyone’s mind-reading powers? Why does no one seem to consistently use them anymore?
It’d seem warranted. If Christo wanted to not use them on his mate out of respect (hah), then that’s one thing. But I’d certainly expect him to use them on the guy’s family, to ensure his safety.
And the other vampires? Plenty of reason at several points to just go for a brain-dive.
Christian’s idiotic arguments against are part of that weirdness. Uh. Mind powers! Come on, you were never squeamish on using them before.
Jeez.
So that annoyed me. And the “romance” did not really help much either. Sex really is not a substitute for emotional closeness. (Admittedly I have read much worse in that regard.)
The one thing I did like was the brothers. Other than Zeke, I mean, although they certainly brought out the best in him too. Eternal optimist that I am, I find myself cautiously looking forward to seeing those two again.

On a dare from his older brother Chase, Zeke enter Manacle. He see that it just a club, with alot of men with men. This is when he meets Christo, Zeke has always been with women and never had any feeling for a male before now. Christo is more then ready to wait for his mate to get use to him. He still lives ay home with his dad and step mom. He stay to protect his younger brother Aidan. one night his dad Ted who is a cop and hunter arrives at Manacle looking for him. Unknown to Zeke the hunters have threaten full out war with the coven with out the return of the boys. Zeke leaves the club when he learns that Aidan has been put into the hospital. This is where he learns that Ted is really his and Chase uncle and the supernatural do exist. They take Aidan from the hospital to get well. Christo stay by his mate and Zeke finally gives in to his feeling for Christo.
OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE BOOK: A must read series, the books just keep getting better. A MUST READ

I like the series but am annoyed that the big story is also part of another (bigger) series or two that I have little interest in reading. The situation with panahasi in ceri's book then in dante's is confusing. Wish this series was a bit like the black dagger brotherhood series where one big storyline is present in ONE series (yes from what I understand she has a couple crossover characters but that's it) instead of the multiple series storyline

Very good G4Y story that intruduces us to a family with 3 sons who share a not so nice father who happens to be involved with vampire hunters and the infamous Joe hephner.
Their father is also a cop so basically untrustworthy and sneaky anyway :-/.
This book is abt the middle brother named Ezekiel, Zeke for short.
I'm looking forward to future stories involving the other brothers chase and aidan. chase is supposedly not gay but I think that might change ;-)

I have to admit, this series is my guilty pleasure.
You have the classic: mate, father not accepting the son who is gay, but hey, again, it's my guilty pleasure :)
In this book, you hear a little more about the hunters. So i am assuming, we will be more about them in the future books. If you are a fan of the series, you will enjoy that book.

Zeke
It was ok I like a little more destruction would of made it so much better it needed a kidnapping with a side of Brain washing or something I would of liked to learn more a out cristo's past of how he was turned on stuff like that it was just missing something but it was still worth reading.

I just loved this book. Zeke entered the Manacle on a date from his brother Chase. He's met Christo and he recognized Zeke as his mate. Zeke felt a pull towards Christo and did not know why. Christo and Zeke went through a lot of issues and came out stronger in love for each other. I can not wait for the next book. Erin

Such a great story! I loved the dare which lead to the romance which led to kissing, the brother with the "toy"...rofl Then onto so much more. It just kept coming and I really enjoyed the ride! Here's to hoping Aiden gets a story :)

A Vampires Touch, by Lynn Hagen is the 10th installment in the crossover series Christian’s Coven. While I enjoyed Zeke and Christo’s story, this series is getting a little too predictable and needs an infusion of a more daring story line.
