What I Liked:

- Regg's unwavering support for Red. He does everything in his power to help her overcome her addiction and his faith in her was sweet to read about.

- They had some cute moments. Mostly when they were cuddling in bed, but that's about it.

What I Didn't Like:

- The first time they had sex. It was SO unromantic. (view spoiler)

When I first saw the blurb for this book, I was a little hesitant in purchasing due to the whole addicted/stripper theme. I am really glad that I took the chance and read it. I loved the dynamics between Red and Regg, and the way he cared for her was just perfect. And I just can't go without mentioning her best friend, Luke. Luke is just the perfect guy, loyal, trustworthy, and baaadass!!! I do have to say that at about 60% I predicted most of the rest. I was disappointed in Red and how througho ...more

Kim Jones and Red, a GREAT 5⭐ read that I couldn't put down. This is one of those stories that you get wrapped up in immediately and you can't put down. Fabulous story, great characters, and a relationship that you want to cheer for.

Kim Jones includes perfect detail in her blurbs so I won't recap in my review. If you like to read about the MC life, a strong woman doing things her way and life, give this awesome story a go.

4/5 stars

This is the story of Red and Regg of the Devil’s Renegades. For those who have read the Saving Dallas trilogy by this author, this book is like the prequel since it’s the story of how Red & Regg met and how they came to be together. We do see the bada$$ hottie, Luke Carmical aka LLC, since he has been best friends with Red since they were in school together. But this book doesn’t go any further into the future past her finally becoming Regg’s Old Lady, therefore we d

**Carla's Five Star Review**

Warning-this book deals with some mature subject matter, so anyone under the age of 18 should not read it!!
I am addicted to MC books, so I was beyond excited to read this one! Regg is a hot alpha male biker who has a heart of gold underneath all that leather that he wears! He can go from sugary sweet to complete bad a** in a New York minute! And Red? Lord, that girl is a hot mess! She has one heck of a sassy attitude! I guess it is a good thing that Regg likes his wom

This book was just OK for me. Naturally, there is nothing pretty about the details of being a drug addict and then trying to come off of drugs. But I felt like the growing relationship btwn Reg and Red took a back seat to her addiction and I was more interested in the relationship. Their first time was anything but sexy or romantic and it just set the tone for a ho hum reading experience for the remainder of the book. Had a lot of potential just didn't work for me. 3 sad sack stars

At times this was a difficult read but it's really good. Red has hit rock bottom, she's struggling but she's not in denial she just can't stop. Enter Regg, he's wanted Red from the moment they met, he takes advantage of the situation his aim is to get her clean and show her they belong together. The story is done brilliantly with characters you'll know if you've read Saving Dallas.

Red is at the bottom. She's not sure how it all fell out from under her but the lights on stage don't shine for her any more. Her brother Luke is trying to save her but only one man can, Regg.
This story has an unlikely heroine who comes to terms that only she can bring herself back out from the darkness. One thing I did like about this story was how Red fought. She was a well written character.
Regg had so many layers that I didn't expect. He was strong, silent, and ready to fight for Red. Even

One of my NEWEST favorites...

Have a lot of "favorite" authors, some I read every once in a while and others religiously, and they are the ones I get as soon as they hit the 1click option. It's amAzing on how many of them I am finding and now want to read asap. I have about 25 books on my kindle and I don't know which one to read first. This author is not new to me per say, but I have just now realised what I have been missing with not ordering ALL of her books. This is a great story with real li

I read the Saving Dallas series a long time ago and wish I could remember where this story fits within that time line.
Regg wanted Red the moment that he saw her but her love was for drugs. She is an unlikable character for me. Even when she wasn't drugged up she was a bitch. Regg definitely needed someone better than her but NOT Taylor.
I hate when the heroin gives into the bully instead of telling the hero what is going on. I know it's all for the story but sometimes its just utter bull shit.

I recommend this book if you can handle REAL.

People do become addicted. People do try and move on with new partners. People can overcome everything and rise above.

I could easily read more of this couple. I would love Red to really talk to Regg about how she came to be where she was when he first met her.

I would really love to have Red get her revenge on Taylor. For now I just have to be content with the HEA 🙃

I'm so glad I grabbed this book first before starting my "Read all KIM JONES book" quest. Its a great story and makes you want to start the saving Dallas books, and love these roles these two play in the books to come.
This book is the story of over coming the struggle of addiction and how strong true love can be.

Well done

I loved the story between Red and Regg. Reading about Red difficulties and Regg's determination to help was beautiful. Loved it, thank you Kim Jones.

This book takes you on a young woman's journey from being an orphan,a stripper, and a drug addict. It's the typical bad childhood leads to a destructive adulthood. Red aka Denny Deen was abused, put thru the horrible foster care system, only to be left on her own. Wanting her independence, she turns to exotic dancing where she gets the approval and acceptance she always wanted. Her childhood friend and "brother" Luke has seen her thru everything. He also happens to be a member of the Devil's Rene ...more

I loved Kim’s Saving Dallas series and when I saw this one, I knew it was a must read. This is the prequel telling the story of how Red and Regg met and fell in love. Red was a stripper and an addict but from the time Regg and Red met, you could feel the sparks fly!!

As Red was arrested and sentenced, Regg saved the day and helped her in every way possible. I really fell for Regg in this book because he was such a strong man and was really her rock who was so patient with her. I loved how loyal h

OMG! Kim, you did it again! This book was sooo good! I loved Red in the Saving Dallas Trilogy but now I love her even more! It was awesome reading about her back story! My poor heart broke for her and Regg over and over! And speaking of Regg, man he reminds me of my hubby so much! Sometimes after reading a good scene between Red and Regg, I would go climb up in my hubby's lap and just swoon over him a little bit! At first he did have a clue what I was doing but after a few times he would say, "R ...more

This book has it all! Sex, Drugs, killing, humor and lastly Romance!

It's about facing your fears and trusting another person with everything!

Red and Regg are by far my favorite couple. They had me laughing when Red was trying to get Regg to say I Love U. I also cryied when she told him she didn't love him. But don't worry she was lying to protect him. If u read this be prepared. It's an emotional roller coaster!! Enjoy the ride! Watch out for the chicken

here's what- I've met kim Jones and she's probably the coolest chick ever. seriously funny and awesome down for whatever!! I believe the book is great especially the truth about the withdrawal s and what it feels like. up until 62% I was in!! after that I was predicting page after page. lately though it seems this has happened with every romantic or book of this type I've read. book was great I think me personally ,I'm burnt out by the predictable scenarios

I absolutely LOVE RED! She is hilarious, and down to earth and also has a soft sweet side. She has been through a hell of a lot in her short life, and I liked reading about and seeing her bounce back to be the woman she can be. Great read, everyone needs to read Kim Jones! Can't wait for her newest book!!!

This was the best book I've read by Kim and I loved Dallas & Luke's books. What a great story. I love Red and Regg. Now I want to go read the part in Dallas' books where Red danced bc I will get the full emotions behind it. I loved every bit of this book. Freaking fantastic!!

Really like this one too. It was good to find out Red's history and how she and Regg met and eventually got married. Tragically sad but good to know she is well and happy now. Also, get introduced to Shark and Chi-Chi. Would like to know their story also. Hell I'd like to know Ronnie and Brooklyn's also.
