Can you find what you need hidden within the dark?

Hiding out in his sister's bakery to recover from a recent injury isn't an ideal solution for newly unemployed meteorologist Damian Trent. Especially since he doesn't like cake. But hiding anywhere is preferable to facing the media frenzy revolving around his life. He has no intention of being seen by anyone. That is, until

What a sweet but sensual read this turned out to be - I loved it! This is the first book by this author that I’ve read, but I’ll certainly be looking out for more by her in future. She brings her characters to life in a moving story of pain, betrayal and lies being overcome by love - and delicious sounding baked confectionary!

Even though he doesn’t like cakes, meteorologist Damian Trent is hiding out in his sister’s bakery, Sweet Delights. after recent serious injuries giving himself time to

I really liked this book. When I read the title Dating in the Dark, I didn't picture the storyline the same as the title. I don't know really what I envisioned but it wasn't what I got.

I really enjoy books that make me feel as though I'm in the story. Books that I can imagine myself as the characters. Books that make me blush. Books that I don't know where the time goes when I read them.
This book is that.

I thought the Damian was charming if hesitant. He'd been hurt in the past and was scared to

I love this book! This is a sweet and warm story about love and healing. I love Sophie's character. She is bright, hopeful, kind and caring. She takes hard lessons from the past and make them work for her in a positive way. Sophie uses her bright light to help the sexy and brooding Damien heal from the hurts of his past. This story is a lesson on learning to accept and love the person you are and dare to live your life and dreams to their fullest. It's also a lesson on not judging a book by its ...more

The temperature is rising in the kitchen, a theme Ms Rogers builds with aplomb and an excellent dusting of sprinkles! Really well written with some wonderful turns of phrase, this is a sweet romance with hidden surprises that add a kick (and heat)...like the ingredient, popping candy. A bruised hero, a heroine walking a career tight-rope, and humour, pink boxes of humour containing deliciousness...what more could a reader want? A great little read!

This was a great book, I love the storyline and the characters felt real. The story re-emphasized that you can not judge a person from the outside alone it is what is on the inside that matters and lasts forever. I fell in love with the characters and could not put the book down until I was finished with it. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends it was sweet but real as well. I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Tracey Rogers

I received a copy of Dating in the Dark in exchange for my review.

Damian has been hiding out since the accident that scarred his face and lost him his career. His siter, Vanessa's, bakery is doing well as a new start up, but she needs a big break. When Damian answers the phone one afternoon he is shocked to hear a voice that calls to him in ways he didn't expect. Sophie works for her treat from Vanessa's bakery every Friday,

'Dating in the Dark' is an intriguing title. The story behind it is full of angst, humour and sexy romance.

Damian is a dynamic hero, with strong reasons for wanting to remain in the shadows. Dating is the last thing on his mind but a serendipitous phone call introduces him to Sophie who woos him with her voice. With plenty of stirring from his lovely sister Vanessa he seems willing to rejoin

4.5 Stars.

The Food-Lit lover in me began to drool just by reading this summary. Darkness and using your sense of taste to get to know a person really intrigued me. While the bakery and sweet treats played a secondary character, Damian and Sophie really turned up the heat.

Rogers introduces us to Damian as he sits in the office of his sister's bakery. We know he's hiding out from the media because of some accident, but we don't know anything more. She keeps us in the dark as well for several

Is there a better mixture than lip-smackingly good cakes, serious sexual tension and a little dollop of mystery? I think not.

Tracey Rogers has brought readers a fantastic saucy romance, with enough angst to keep the story alive and interesting, while proving herself to be talented at creating palpable chemistry between characters. Damien is a dominating force on each page, who really came to life for me as the tortured male lead of the story, and his masculinity just oozed from the pages as he

This is the first book in what promises to be a fab new series by Tracey Rogers and I absolutely loved it! The Sweet Delights bakery setting is full of flavour—with just the right balance of scrummy pastries description so that you don’t feel that you’re reading about baking first and romance second.
The flirting between the two main characters, Damian and Sophie, is delicious. I could practically hear the sexy rumble in Damian’s voice and Sophie’s tenacity and sweet spirit had me rooting for

Dating in the Dark is a fab read that kept me hooked from the beginning. With all those sweet and scrummy cakes, an equally scrummy Damian and lots of popping candy, how can one resist?

I really loved the unique feel with the dates in the dark and the reasoning behind it brings real depth to this page turning romance.

I don't want to give too much away about the story but will say it's a real winter warmer. Hurry up book 2!

Damien used to be in the spotlight as a famous meterologist but when an accident occurs, it causes him to retreat and hide. Now he has been holed up in his sister Vanessa' house and she is trying to get him back into the "real life" mode. When an appointment comes up and Vanessa has to pop out, she leaves Damien to work alongside Lisa in her bakery "Sweet Delights". It is here, that the phone rings and Damien picks up and Sophie is on the line and from then we can see that this will be the ...more

A devourer of books from an early age, I spent much of my childhood stepping into wardrobes, searching for that magical snowy world where conversing with animals would be expected. When I wasn't searching for those worlds, I wrote about them instead. My first step into the world of romance was when I stole sneak peeks into my nana's books. I'm still in that world and refuse to leave.
