I love it. Of course, I'm a little biased. I wrote it.

I knew this was going to be a fantastic end to a great series, and I was right. I was so excited for this book to come out. Books like these are why I love middle grade. Abby, Derrick, and their friends are amazing and Carol still makes me smile. After receiving some news about Derrick, the twins and their friends are faced with another impossible task, to win the school's race to save all the secrets they hold dear. I love how they have to really think their way out of situations and rely on ...more

This is a book and series that I could go on and on (and on) about, but what it boils down to is this: It's fantastic!! What a fabulous way to end this series! I don't want to say too much, either, because it is a series that needs to be experienced to truly appreciate it.

Abby and Derick are shocked to learn that their grandfather's secret is the award for the winner of the annual race. They form a team so they can hopefully win and keep the secret from getting into the wrong hands or becoming

Author, has problem with the fact that the basis of his plot is a time machine. The plans are TOO complicated and round-about, and overlook the fact that there is a time machine! These, "brilliant" kids are reasonably smart but not clever or really all that gifted, as they overlook the basic solutions to problems, without even violating their own ethics (about changing the past), using the TIME MACHINE.

Half of the plot and problems don't need to happen, if they really thought through their

Book 12

In the third book of Cragbridge hall, Abby and Derrick have to win the Race, or their Grandpa's secret could be let out to the world. At the beginning Abby, Derrick, Carrol, and Rafa save a women that failed Muns and is now being tortured by Muns and his people. When they return from saving her they use the chair to see what she knows. After the interrogation Derrick gets back to his dorm, and finds a metal object that looks like Saturn in his room. Very uplifting page turner with intense plot twists. Excellent choice for a sci-fi, realistic mix. Similar to Gone, by Haddix, this book also involves time travel. No language or intense violence. Great book!

A very good ending to the series. Hopefully one day there will be more(since theses 3 only covered the first year there).

Not bad completion of a trilogy. Have def had enough of this genre for now and pleased to be trying something new. Series got steadily less interesting for me.

These were really fun to listen to. It would be amazing to attend a school like Cragbridge Hall. History would become a student favorite for sure. As would working with the avatars.

Aah, A delicious end for the series. I'm not so find of the narrator - I have to keep changing the volume because when a character yells or whispers, so does the audio. The story was thrilling.

Phew! What a ride! I started this well-done audiobook ready by Kirby Heyborne with my grandson. We burned through all 3 books on our drives to town. They are action packed kid candy.

The Impossible Race. The best book of the series. More fun and action packed than the other two. Way better story, and there is a twist... Will Abby and Derick win the race, or will all be lost in this epic adventure of saving the world?

This book is awesome the best book of the series. I recommend to anyone with a adventurous heart and soul. one of the best book series I have ever read, I wish he made more of them.

Time travel books can't help but end up with plot holes. Most of us love time travel books in spite of all the issues messing with time can cause for an author and a plot. Up through the end of the second book, the protagonists have been kept in check by the butterfly effect theory. Any changes of the past could adversely affect the present.

Chad Morris unfortunately got rid of this moral check at the very end of book 2 by introducing the ability to modify the present. Technically the past could

It’s just another year at Cragbridge Hall when twins Derick and Abby receive a message from the future that Derick will die in a few weeks trying, but failing to stop their arch enemy Charles Muns from controlling the past and wrecking havoc on the future. Then comes the announcement that the prize for the “Race” (a team based event featuring all sorts of technology and virtual worlds) is a key, and a secret…a key that

The Impossible Race is the final book in Chad Morris’ Cragbridge Hall trilogy. When I was approached about reviewing this book, I’ll admit I hadn’t read the first two books yet. I remedied that situation and was super excited to discover another great series for kids. These books follow twins Abby and Derick through their first wild year at Cragbridge Hall, the school their grandfather founded.

While Derick is a genius and fits right into this elite academy, Abby has always struggled in school

I really this adventure series. It is a fun dangerous adventure in a school of smart kids. Everyone of the kids but one are super smart. Abby is just normal smart her twin brother is way smart. There Grandfather created Cragbridge Hall and he made exception for Abby.

Abby does not give up, she runs fast, cares about others and risks her life to save everyone.
Derick Cragbridge is a twin. Abby, Derick and two of their friends, Rafa and Carol have learned some of their Grandfather's

The first two books in this series were very exciting! This third book continues that theme. I have always loved the concept of this school for gifted children in the future(2074) where they interact with characters from history, use real-like avatars/robots that the kids manipulate through sophisticated technology where they become the animal(like in a computer game but much cooler) and where they can sit in a chair and read out loud literature and the rest of the class can see projected how ...more

My boys (13 and 11) and I loved the first two books in this series, and have been counting down the days until this one came out. It's finally here, and it did not disappoint! It is the perfect ending (Does it really have to end?) to such a fun series. I love the characters in this book. Abby, Derick, Carol, and Rafa continue in this story, and there are some great new characters as well. I love Abby's attitude, and I love that she never gives up. She grows a lot in this book, which is good to ...more
