He’s fighting it but he needs this as much as I do.

YouTube Book Trailer:

This book is just as hot as Noel Cade's first book "Forbidden Lessons" but less "controversial" as the heroine is older and a few weeks away from finishing school.

Heroine: Alice - 18 yo, smart (wants to be a Vet and very serious about her education), kind, determined and no push-over. Not your typical angst-y teen either but can act up (without being annoying like some heroines). She's a practical girl
What can I say? It was hot. It was romantic. And it was completely believable. Bravo!

This is the second book I've read by Noel Cades and although my personal preference was her debut novel "Forbidden Lessons", I did like this book as well.

I am definitely a sucker for the student teacher taboo romance and you get that with this story. This book had a predominately young adult feel for me, but with the addition of some well written steam! I was captivated by the story and it definitely created that "need to know what's next" feeling throughout the book. I felt the last half of th
a romance worth reading

This story was very real in certain points. The relationship aspect was incredibly real and very definite. We like to read these type of taboo stories however there are details ignored because it is written more like a fairy tale. The characters were very relatable. I enjoyed Alice even though she was a bit immature, naive and self-centered. All of these traits are expected in an 18 year old so I wasn't overly annoyed. Stewart was patient, thorough and kind. He was a well
I'm struggling to rate and review this one, probably 2.5 stars.
It was all a bit too insta-love for my liking and first half of the book I found myself being irritated reading about 3 silly girls (Alice and her two friends). I also didn't like that we never really got to understand the motives of Stewart, we never really got to know him and why.

The story read like a YA book but with erotica thrown in, it was a little weird.

I did find the the second half improved, with the younger characters ma

Noel had done it again!

As with French Kissing this book it Student Teacher.

Like always this book it also well written and a perfect balance between descriptive and dilogue.

Although it is a typical forbidden ST story. Noel has made it unique with the cricket etc. and for me the 'struggle/dilemma' Alice went towards the end made this story a bit different too.

overall I loved it! after all it must have been good if I finished it in one day.

Well done Noel

Amazing story. The characters and plot are well developed. I find all of Noel's writing to be excellent. When you can picture the story happening in your head as you read the words on the page....that's the mark of an excellent author.

This was a DNF for me. I hate third person writing, I like first person. I want to be in the main characters heads not have it being narrated. It just didn’t flow right and was hard to read.

Edit: I went back and forced myself to finish the book. It was ok story wise. But I still did not like the third person writing. It makes it so hard to connect with the character and just doesn’t flow like first person does.

Could not get past 5 percent before I was utterly bored of the writing.

Summer's Edge
seriously bowled me over. I would be lying if I said I didn't start watching out for Australian coaches and taking more interest in cricket after reading this.

The love chase started when Alice, along with friends Becky and Jules, met their new "swoon-worthy" Cricket coach Stewart Walker with some of his friends in Dog and Duck. She had no idea what could happen after this encounter. She was already infatuated by Mr. Walker and he might feel the same but this

I honestly feel happy to have finish this one. It took me a couple of months because I stopped it a while back, and as I said before it was because of the long dialogs between the main character and her friends. That's also the reason I gave this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I skipped many pages of the secondary character scenes. Jules and that other friend had way more pages and this story that's Stewart! It was so boring having to know every single details of when the girls got together! And when ...more

I read this book very quickly and shut out the world to do so. This book was probably one of the best written student teacher books I have ever read and I am not surprised given the authors talent that is shown through out her other books.

Stewart is new to the area and Alice meets him out at a bar. They start to talk, she dares him to get drunk, and they hit it off on the spot. I loved it! Then in school he becomes the new Cricket coach thus finding out Laura is a student at the school. He tries
