Wow,just wow!!! Diana Palmer has returned with such a besutifully told romance that at times I literally choked up while reading.I wanted Rourke's and Tat"s story for the longest time and this was a winner.
They knew each other since childhood, she at 8 and he 13.One day when Tat was 17 and Rourke was home from a mission, they each gave in to their feelings for each other, but before they went all the way,Tat's mother came home. After that night, things went down hill for the couple. For the next 8 yea

Clarisse has been in love with Rourke since forever. They were playmates as children, she was following him around and worshiped him. Rourke pushed her away not because he didn't love her but because he thought they were siblings. When he finds out the truth they finally get together, they admit their feelings for each other and they live in bliss.

They are about to get married but Rourke has a last mission. He has an accident, he loses his memory and he rejects Clarisse once again. She is pregna

I loved this book. We have waited for this story, of Rourke and Tat. This is such a great book. The beginning was good the middle was a little drawn out but the ending was good well better then good it was great. I loved seeing this story unfold. It was about time we got this story. Allot of questions got answered in this book. If you are a fan of Rourke and Tat you will have to read this. Trust me it

OMG THE DRAMA!

It's been a while since I read a new Diana Palmer's book and gosh, I'm in love! Even though the action's not as boom as usual, the drama.. Oh boy, I miss it. I always love Diana's plot and this book give me what I want!

Overall I loved this book and the drama with it. I don't care if people don't like Diana Palmer's books, to me, Diana is my girl.

Now I have to wait for another new book by her. But I knew, I knew it's going to be worth it.

Fans of Diana Palmer know what they are getting with each book. There isn’t much of a surprise that he heroine is often a virgin, and the hero is often angry for some reason. I truly don’t know how she keeps giving us this formula, and knocking it out of the park. Each book draws me into its net, and I don’t want out until the bad guys are caught, the guy gets the girl, and I have chuckled once or twice by the antics of the people of Jacobsvil

This book was a lot different than your regular DP book, it had so much pain, so much angst. And it was a lot darker, deeper than books she normally likes.

I can't say that I enjoyed Rourke and Tat's story very much. But I did so love the characters, and I understood why they did what they did. In fact, I even sympathised with Tat when she marries OM when she's pregnant and alone by the hero, and the hero has amnesia and can't remember her and treats her like shit. (On that note, I must add the a

"Untamed" is the story of Rourke and Clarisse.
In the intro, Diana calls Rourke one of her most beloved heroes, and as the book finishes you know why.
Rourke (our hero with an eyepatch) and Clarisse (our ever forgiving heroine) have known each other forever, and have cared for each other. Their attraction blooms, and in a session of hot and heavy kissing- they are caught by her missionary mother- who tells Rourke a secret which leads him to push Clarisse away, well by belittling and slut shaming h

I think me and Diana Palmer are finally going to part ways. My reading tastes just don't mesh with her writing anymore. When I was younger I would hunt down anything I could get me hands on - I still have a decent collection of her earlier novellas. For the life of me I don't know what I found so romantic about them. Maybe because they were so short, the pigheadedness of her jerk H was short lived and their HEA was there in a a blink of an eye? I don't know honestly . . . but this three hundred ...more

Well, this one was certainly better than the last Diana Palmer book I read. At least the continuity was better and it wasn't all about video games and religion.

It was definitely a sweet love story but it was almost too sweet. I don't know, I guess my reading style may have changed but this was just so over the top with the sweetness and the innocence and the wanting. It just bothered me.

However, other than that it was a good story. I didn't find the hero or heroine annoying as in previous books

Untamed by Diana Palmer is a 2015 HQN publication. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! Diana Palmer has some ungodly amount of books under her belt and I have read some of them over the years, but this one was not very good.

A lie drove Rourke and “Tat” apart once, but when the truth is revealed it opens the way for them to finally find happiness, but a dangerous mission robs Rourke of his memory, and once again he pushes Tat a

Untamed is the 51st volume in the Long, Tall Texans series by Diana Palmer. I read a lot of this series, and in Untamed we meet again heroes from some previous volumes. However, you’ll understand that seeing the number of books published, I don’t really want to make a list of all the novels in the series LOL.

I will only say that I’m fan of the author. And I must really be a fan because in spite of my luk

This is the story of Stanton Rourke, a mercenary, and his childhood friend, Clarisse Carrington. Amnesia, some suspense when one of the characters is targeted to be killed, and reconnecting with familiar characters in Jacobsville, Texas are all elements of what could have been an interesting story. Unfortunately, poor writing with a lot of repetition made this a book I did not enjoy. Review based on an ARC received from NetGalley.

Quem é fã da autora não vai ficar desapontada. A fórmula de sempre é repetida para alegria das leitoras que adoram um herói cabeça dura e uma heroína ingênua. Eu recomendo somente para as fãs verdadeiras.

Who is a fan of the author will not be disappointed. The usual formula is repeated for joy of the readers who love a headstrong hero and a heroine naïve. I recommend only for the true fans.

Heartache, tragedy and lots of crying by me.

Wonderful heart-warming story
Diana never misses a beat, I love her stories.

What did I just read? It was so whacked, I decided to sit back and enjoy the trainwrecky-ride. Unbelievable how much happened in this one. I was definitely entertained. If you decide to read - just don't take it too seriously and remember these are DP characters. 3.5 rounded stars.

What a great book it was sad the way he treated her just because of something her mother had said. That was bad awaiting eight years when they could have been together than when Stanton Rourke got hurt on one mission right before he was as supposed to marry Clarisse Carrington when he comes back he doesn't remember anything but the chartered he has for her he accused her of things. She found out she was with child his but didn't say anything because he hated her again so she Marty's a great guy ...more

Stanton Rourke is a South African mercenary who's cold, dangerous and good at his job. But despite this hard shell, Rourke has been in love with one women his whole life, the one women he was told he could never have… Tat aka Clarissa Carrington.

Tat had loved Rourke since she was a child, but after one kiss he turned cold against her, and ripped her to pieces every time she was near him, which was frequent, as Tat was a journalist and every time she was in danger, Rourke was there to get her ou

Back to the world that Diana Palmer has created full of men of power and mystery that love woman of high moral values. It was like coming home to a comforting place. Palmer has a way that pulls me in and keeps me hooked.

We met Rourke and Clarisse (Tat) in another story, now it's their turn to find the love they deserve.

Clarisse has loved Stanton Rourke for as long as she can remember and she thought she would get her chance during Christmas when she was 17. Rourke came to see her family and thin

If you like your men hot, read this one and you will be absolutely enthralled with the character Rourke. He is a no nonsense South African mercenary who battles against tyranny. His one downfall is the rich woman turned reporter named Clarissa Carrington. Even though they were childhood friends, Rourke decides that she can never be his. Family secrets are revealed in this story which settles a lot of back history. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more from this author.

I really wanted to give 3 stars to the book. But after thinking about why the heroes were apart from each other in the middle of the book, I couldn't even think about giving it 2 stars. Because it was not OK AT ALL! So, I'm very sad but it will be 1 star for me and I'm very sad because I think I won't read her next books in this series.
I have finished the book a few days ago but I was wondering about my quotation.
Review soon.

I have loved Diana Palmer for over 20 years and have never not finished a book of hers. Untamed was the first book I wasn't able to get even half way through. It just felt very hokey with not much story except for the relationship between Tat and Rourke. The relationship was very unbelievable and just plain boring.

I loved this story. Unlike many other heroes, Rourke has a very good reason for the way he acts toward Tat, both in the beginning and after the Big Event. I actually felt as bad for him as I did for Tat, which is saying something.

I'm taking a star off for bad research though. Specifically, DP's Afrikaans is wrong:

1. Rourke and other African characters often start their sentences with 'Ya' which I can only assume means 'yes' from context. Yes in Afrikaans is 'ja'. It grates.

2. At one point, he sa

For a small space of time they had a idyllic come together were they admit their love for one another and even start arrangements for a wedding. However, live

Love forgives all

I wanted to really like this book but I couldn't. I'm sorry but to me it was just okay. I had issue with the fact that the hero goes from hate to undying love twice in the blink of an eye. I just didn't buy it. And I did have trouble with the repetitive nature of the story. It felt to me that both lead who tell everyone their whole tragic pasts. But they'd say it more like an FYI. It was all "yes! I'm a jerk but I saw my father killed in front of me then my mom died". Now if it

I liked this book don't get me wrong, but at times I found myself actually cringing at what Rourke was saying to Clarisse. I get that love is supposed to conquer all or whatever but still some of those words would stick with you. I still enjoyed this book and getting to see some of the other characters in the long tall Texans series was nice. But I don't know I guess it just bugged me more than I thought it would.

I enjoyed the story of the two main characters. I felt the author gave a great back story on why they both were the way they are. Story also showed heartbreak, joy and overcoming of issues. This story felt completely real. Diana Palmer always incorporates other characters from previous books making the stories flow. However, if you haven't read any others in this series this book could still be a stand alone.

Well, well. I knew I was reading a Diana book but half of the book was all sex. I was to the boring point and almost put it down. I was very disappointed. The second half was more the Diana style of writing and it was a lot better.
