This was an incredibly fun and engaging collection of puzzles. I’ll admit that not all of them are ones that children could figure out (even i was stumped by a few of them). That said this book actually does an excellent job of being just the right difficulty level for middlegrade readers.
I loved how there was a collection of characters, though it did get to the point where the idea of Slylock Fox feeling certain that they were fibbing could have been corroborated by the mere fact of them lying all the time. Still, it was an incredibly fun read overall.

I've been a fan of this comic puzzle for a long time. I began reading it regularly in my local paper when one of my middle school English teachers started using them as fun challenges in class. When I recently saw the that a collection was available I was eager to own it. The book is wonderful!! It's a fun read, and I love Bob Weber Jr's comic drawings. I enjoy the material as an adult, and it also has a comforting nostalgic affect that feels good!

I LOVE reading Slylock Fox in my Sunday newspaper comics pages! I grew up with Slylock and all the baddies in the comic ( Count Weirdly, Shady Shrew, Slick Smitty, Harry Ape, Reeky Rat and Cassandra Cat)! This beautiful collection of Slylock Fox puzzles is a super great treat!
