It’s hardly the first time.

okay. okay. okay. Whew! Just let me fangirl a bit here first:

This was phenomenal Ms. Blair. So freaking good! Such wonderful dialogue. The brogue was charming and written so very well.

Blood in Fire was a dark, twisty, sexy as hell, infuriating as all get out, bloody heartbreaking story. And OMG Aidan. I. Just. Can't. Even! So much pain. So much loneliness. So frickin' hot.

Aidan was made a vampire against his will. He was a good man with a good heart, put in an untenable position by the bitch

This book, man. It messed me up. In like a mind blown, completely jealous of the author's talent kinda way. In a "How do I even write a review?" kinda way.

Ah well, I'll give it a shot.

This Paranormal Romance doesn't trip over its romance aspects, you feel me? Yes, there's sex. Sensual and hot sex. Dark, gritty sex, and that's even before the heroine finds out our hero is a vampire. And yes, the romantic bond and emotional arc the characters share is a big part of the plot. Thing is, it's

Just wow!

I'm a "newbie" to the paranormal romance scene (despite reading about a hundred books - give or take), but I know Heather R. Blair is someone you have to watch out for! I was totally blown away by this book! I read this book prior to the release as a beta-reader but reading the finished product had me really going - in a good way, if not the best way!

Aidan O'Neill met Heather Kantos in a bar in Istanbul. What was supposed to be a one night stand turned into three nights. He leaves i

So I finally had some uninterrupted time recently where I could read this from start to finish...and I have to say, I bloody loved it!!

Aidan...ah, Aidan...he's had a shit life with a goddess toying with him and being responsible for who he turned out to be. After everything he's gone through, it's understandable that he acts the way he does. But then Heather enters his life and she isn't supposed to be a big deal. They were just supposed to be a one-night stand (3 nights actually if we're being

Wow, where to even start with this one. Love it, simply love it. Aidan was everything I'd hoped for when we caught a glimpse of him in the first book. A cocky, confident, intriguing vampire that I just had to know more about. We learned about his past, how he was turned and why he agreed to it when he certainly didn't want anything do to do with it.
Aidan and Heather made a fantastic couple. It started off as a one-night stand and morphed from there. Their bickering made me smile.

What a fabulous storyline filled with rich characterization and deep point of view! But the story is really, really dark. Painfully dark at times. Cringe inside, close my eyes, - is it over yet, dark. If this was a movie, I guarantee I would not have been able to watch some of the scenes described. But they were absolutely necessary for this story to ring true.

What I loved most about this story was how all the pieces really fit well together. It is complex as hell but I w

***I received this book in exchange for an honest review from Lovers of Paranormal and the author.***

So first let me say: I take back every ill feeling I ever had towards Aidan, this book totally redeemed him and more. Gosh, I never realized how sad his life was. And even at the end of this book, the author, Heather Blair, still does not really cut him some slack with her setting up for the next book. At least he got something he never thought he'd have....Heather Kantos. It was great to bring H

1100 years is a long time to live without the sun.
When vampire Aidan O'Neill discovers a potion that promises to let him walk in its light again, the ancient Celt warrior jumps at the chance to steal it.

He doesn't expect to hit by a car enjoying his first sunrise in over a millenia. Especially one driven by a former lover.

Heather Kantos is in Ireland, searching for a missing friend, when she collides(literally) with a blast from her recent past. Aidan gave her a hot couple of nights in Istanb

4.5 Stars!

I loved this story. The passion between Aidan and Heather was hot from the get-go and the passion continued to build throughout the book. Aidan is such a tortured soul and you just want him to find and accept love. Heather is a strong female character who isn't going to let Aidan's issues push her away. Together they make for a volatile combination.

This book has easily made its place among my favourites. Aidan is intriguing, strong and determined. His cold blooded nature is due to self preservation and he masks his pain with his wicked sense of humour. Heather is driven and fierce. She remains strong as she grapples with her demons. These two have an intense, stormy relationship from the start; they go through hell and emerge stronger. The villain Abartach is cruel and twisted and wants Aidan as his heir. Abartach has a minion who idolizes ...more

Heather Blair is the next BIG thing! Blood In Fire is an amazing read, the characters are well rounded, complex, and awesome! Aidan is a vampire bad boy who doesn't let anyone close to him, except Ronan, his best friend and used to be werewolf. Aidan is dying to finally see the sunlight, and after over 1000 years he finally gets the chance. As he is appreciating this once in a lifetime opportunity along comes gorgeous Heather to smack him with her car! Heather and Aidan have met before after sha ...more

I took another vacation to Ireland courtesy of Blair airlines! Can’t beat the price of this Celtic adventure, especially since we traveled eleven-hundred years into the past. Kudos to Heather R. Blair and her time-traveling writing skills! This sequel to Smoke in Moonlight is fantastic. It picked right up where the last one ended, so there was a comfort with the characters. There are many twists and turns to this book that made me yell out, “Holy crap!” I love that in a fantasy novel.

This book I had received in return an honest review if I could give it more stars I would by far. In the beginning I was sort of lost ,but I didn't give up ,and I'm thankful I didn't! The only thing I would recommend is that you read the dictionary of characters and words first. Anyhow, on to this amazing trip with a man named Aiden whose a fierce Irish warrior that had become a vampire, and an American model named Heather. They end up meeting not once but twice, and both unforgettable ! They wer ...more

I loved this book but am not quite sure where to start.

Aiden is a badass warrior turned into an even more badass vampire with a healthy dose of self-loathing. Having lost everything to the darkness, he learns to bury his caring interior within a hardened shell of cool indifference.

Heather sets out to find her best friend in Ireland and runs into a familiar face. She and Aiden have an undeniable attraction and spark but won't allow it to advance beyond that- until supernatural forces from his p

I always love it when an author thinks outside the box and approaches certain genres with a fresh and open mind. Vampires are written about and shown in movies frequently, but Heather brings fresh air to this by showing you a different angle. She is a skillful author who draws the reader into her web, slowly untangling it keeping you at the edge of your seat.

Heather is an adorable character you can relate to. We all have our demons and our own ways to deal with them. She comes across as very lik

I was given an ARC of this book for my honest review...

This was a very entertaining book. It had lots of drama and romance in it. Of course the leading Male was stubborn and the female was just as bad. There was some drag to the story at some points and that is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The writing was excellent and moved along wonderfully for the most part. It did jump around to different people somewhat but it all lead to the same thing in the end. I would be happy to read more

Ms. Blair ups the game of weaving elements of a culture’s myths and legends along with her own voice, and pretty much creates a brand new epic hero’s tale in the process.

Heather R. Blair wrote her first book in the first grade and hasn't stopped since. Back then it was all about horses, now it's pretty much the dark, sexy and shivery.

She lives in the frozen north of Minnesota, near that big gorgeous lake called Superior and enjoys hiking when the snow melts. She also does murals, rides herd on four monsters(otherwise known as children, ages 9-19), is slightly obs
