Once again we see all the characters we learned to love in the first book. The main character is an officer who has overcome some personal tragedies and stayed strong. In the beginning we open to find someone she deeply cared for has been taken from her, and she vows revenge.

This is the third book I have read by this author. Although I love crime dramas, this series seems more like a romance with a back drop of crime. Romance is not really my preferred genre. As for the writing and story, it flo
