My name is Nollaig, it’s the Irish word for Christmas. I hate my name. My parents loved Christmas and that’s why they gave me such a festive name, together with the fact that I was born on Christmas Day.

However, my parents are no longer with us after dying in a car accident on Christmas Eve, five years ago.

Now I hate Christmas all together.

I always hated the fact that e

Imagine losing those you loved. Now imagine losing them during the most festive
time of year.

Christmas is a season filled with love and joy until one fateful
night changed everything for Nollaig/Nolly.
Now Nollaig evades everything connected to the holiday.
A meeting of chance or destiny?

This book was wonderfully romantic and it got me very excited about Christmas! I loved Nollaig and completely understood her reasons for hating Christmas. And Tully? Well, what can I say? He is the sort of man that we all want. He is romantic and totally swoon worthy. A wonderful festive story of how one man makes a girl fall in love with Christmas again and in turn fall in love him. Adorable storyline and great characters. 5 stars

What a treat! This story is so very sweet and it gives you hope!
Even after everything that happened to Nollaig, everything that makes christmas day a sad one, something or rather someone unexpected turns up and everything will change!
Can't wait for everyone to read this story! A perfect Christmas tale.

I can honestly say that I loveedddd this book so very much. I knew that this would be a Christmasy book (that is a word right?) so I "dressed" for the occasion. I put on my Christmas pajama's decorated with Christmas trees and little ornaments. I then sat on my couch and had candles lit up that smelt like "Winter" (and kudos to Bath & Body Works for creating such and accurate scent). Next came my favourite, candy cane white hot chocolat

This was a wonderful love story for the Tully and Nolly. Nolly had a hard time with Christmas since her parents passed away on Christmas eve and her birthday is Christmas day. Normally, she spends Christmas all by herself or maybe a few hours with her family. Until she falls at Tully's feet and he is destined to make her feel joy at Christmas.

This was a sweet romance that both character have going on. The two of them get

A Taste of Christmas Dublin Style has you believing in the miracles of Christmas once again. It is a heartwarmingly great book that will have you looking at the old saying falling head over heels in a new light. I fell in love with this book. From the first page I was rooting for Nolly. She was awkward at first but by the end she was a picture of grace and beauty. This book will have you believing in Christmas miracles and hoping for a love of your own for Christmas. I am giving this 5 stars bec ...more

A great short read! Nolly loses everything one Christmas Eve, and after that, she finds it hard to celebrate. Her birthday is also on Christmas day and so that doesn't help her any either. When she falls at Tully's feet, he is determined to change her mind and give her the best Christmas and birthday ever. Will Nolly be open to change? I loved following Nolly's journey in finding the magic of Christmas again!

I was given and ARC for my honest review.

Could you love Christmas if it was your birthday and yet you didn't get to celebrate your birthday like any others get to because you have to open presents with everybody else. Maybe that can sound a little selfish well then when all your memories are of your parents and family together celebrating and then on one Christmas Eve instead of showing up you get a call hat your parents have been in and accident and didn't make it. A lit

I’ve been hearing great things about Krissy V from both readers and other authors alike so I leapt at the chance to read this gorgeous heart-warming little novella from the lady herself. Set in Dublin at Christmas time this book tells the story of Tully and Nolly (fantastic names!). After a rather hilarious and unfortunate meeting the pair ends up going for a rather special cup of coffee where the story really begins to capture your imagination and emotions.
Krissy’s writing for me is very remini

A Taste of Christmas is the ideal festive romance story to read, especially during advent, whether you enjoy Christmas or not. It is a super, sweet romance between characters Nollaig and Tully that takes you through most of December from the moment that they meet up in mid-December until New Year’s Eve.

The contrasting attitudes that Nollaig and Tully have towards the festive period make for a very interesting read, and enables readers to empathise with at least one of the main characters, creati

~~I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion~~

I know that I have friends that have their birthdays on Christmas Day. They usually have more presents than the others, but that is because they are celebrating not only their birthday but the birth of Jesus. However, when you have your birthday one Christmas Day, and on Christmas Eve, your parents are suddenly taken from you, you really don’t want to celebrate anything at all.
Nolly is just that person. She has lost that Christmas spirit

This is the story of Nolliag. She was born on Christmas Day and named Nolliag, which is the Irish word for Christmas, by her parents because Christmas is their favorite holiday. Then one year on Christmas Eve Nolliag's parents are killed. So to say she hates Christmas is an understatement. She usually stays by herself on Christmas with all the tragedy surrounding the holiday she feels she has no reason to celebrate. Then she meets Tully. He makes it his goal to bring back the magic of Christmas ...more

This is a really quick feel good read, a touch of sadness but a really feel good romance. Nolly & Tully meet a few weeks before Christmas which is a really miserable time for Nolly. Her parents died in a car accident on Christmas eve, Her birthday falls on Christmas day, it's a really rough time for her. Out shopping one afternoon she meets a very handsome street singer Tully, she literally falls at his feet. Tully promises her that he will make her enjoy the holiday again. What happens next ...more

I am a bit late in reading and reviewing this Christmas Novella from Krissy V. The story of Nolly and Tully is a truly magical one. Despite Nollaig's heartbreak over Christmas five years ago Tully was going to recapture her love and be either her every step of the way.

Despite it being late January it truly made me feel festive and believe in the magic of Christmas all over again!

The best Christmas Novella I've read so far!

What a hopeful story of Christmas. Nolly and Tully are a sweet pair. They make such a cute couple. This is a short story that I hope one day Krissy continues to add on to it. When tragedy hit Nolly's life, the spirit of Christmas is the hardest memory to remember. Tully comes up with a wonderful way to remind Nolly what the true meaning of Christmas.

She is always thinking of situations that be turned into a story and has started a few stories, which in turn
