"A good chef can throw seemingly random ingredients into a pot and create something delicious. On rare occasions, fate does the same thing with hearts. With the right combination of elements at just the right time, a couple can fall head over heels in love. That being said, blending two lives can get messier than any kitchen and also a hell of a lot harder to clean up."

This book takes you smack dab in the middle of Joe & Molly's relationship. The ups and downs and the ins and outs of their struggles. They know they love each other, but to make it "work", that's what they need to figure out. Then throw in a couple of monkey wrenches and what a whirl wind of a story. My favorite line in the story: "You've heard of people having walking pneumonia? I was in a walking coma. Then she was there, and it was like I'd been struck by lightning. She shook me awake, and I ...more

I read the first book on a whim, and I've been hooked ever since! Reading about how Molly and Joe are continuing their relationship and everything that gets in their way and helps them out...I can't even say enough about this book! I loved it and cannot wait for the final installment!! Great work!

A few months ago I picked up a book titled Good Wood. I thought, hey, this looks like a light and fun read. Boy, was I wrong. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the book and the characters. In Mollywood, the second book of the series, we get reacquainted with Joe and Molly.

Molly is still running her thriving Wrapgasmic food trucks and Joe's carving business, Good Wood, has really taken off. The couple are living together and still trying to adjust to the ups-and-downs in their r

First of, let's get one thing out of the way, Carved Hearts is one of my top series of all time.

So Mollywood is book 2 in the series Carved Hearts and we met Molly and Joe in Good Wood. The story continues from not exactly where we left off in book 1. It's months after book 1.

Molly and Joe like every couple that come together are struggling to find a niche for each other. They fight and they annoy each other but their love for each other never comes into question.

Les & Michelle once again have outdone themselves and not disappointed! I fell in love with Molly & Joe in the first book in the series, "Good Wood" and have been anxiously awaiting the release of "Mollywood" and it was everything I had hoped for and more.

In "Mollywood" Molly and Joe are back to share with us their new relationship and all that comes with that. And then suddenly, there are some twists thrown into the mix. It would seem that fate had some ideas of it's own for Molly & Joe. In ad

Carved Hearts is a fun series following the romance between Molly and Joe. By profession Molly owns/operates a food truck specializing in wraps having much success she owns multiple locations. Joe is a wood carver, restoring furniture pieces and creating intricate designs, also owns the business. You would want to read Good Wood first before getting wrapped up in this fun couple. The first book is about their love growing from silly teenage girl crush on her brother's friend to a mature relation ...more

I say it again and again #TheWorldNeedsMorePace and I am telling you The Pace's have delivered yet again with "Mollywood"! I loved it. It was a perfect followup book to book 1, "Good Wood" and I cannot wait for "Heartwood". Their writing is so cohesive and smooth that I forgot I was reading a book by 2 authors. Definitely 1-click this book and if you haven't met Molly and Joe yet, then 1-click "Good Wood" too and settle in for a range of emotions and fall in love with "The Carved Hearts Series". ...more

Is there really such a thing as HEA? In this second book in the Carved Hearts series you find yourself asking that questions. Molly and Joe continue to try and leave their past behind but the past is not that easy to let go. You will laugh and cry right alone with them as they face unexpected trials and blessings. This is another part of their story that will grip you and hold you until the end!

This is the second book in the Carved Hearts series. I could not wait to get my hands on this book after finishing Good Wood. I would recommend reading Good Wood first. I think one of the things I really like about this series is the relatability of the couple. They both have their pasts and issues they need to work through, but they are just regular people. People you could and would be friends with in real life. I love the interaction with all of their friends and family.

This is book two in the Carved Hearts Series.
I gave this book 5 stars.

This is Molly and Joe's story continuing from the first book Good Wood. I would say that you should read book one because it is the beginning of this couples story. BUT I read it as a stand alone. I am sure that I would have connected a lot more with them if I had read the first one.

None the less I really enjoyed reading this book. Molly has everything she wants she and Joe are happy. They have their problems and they a

I absolutely feel in love with Molly and Joe in Great Wood. They are two of the most real characters I have read in the last few years. The demons they both carry from past relationships but somehow together they work. They complement each other. They give each other rations of shit and it’s awesome.
I was very excited that L.G. Pace III and Michelle Pace were going to give us more of Molly and Joe’s story. I was interested to see how they would carry on after the traumatic event in Great Wood. I

Molly Hildebrandt and Joe Jensen have both been through hell and are together making a better life for themselves. Molly is an extremely talented chef and owns several food trucks. She is presented with an idea to take her business in a new direction - one she never dared to dream. Joe is also incredibly talented in his own right - he is a wood carver and is much in demand. When he and Molly's brother join together to form their own business, their success is almost instantaneous. But with all o ...more

Joe was seriously different in this book I'm still trying to digest it all, and I'm not sure if I liked the differentness in Joe. I mean yeah his intentions were good but he wasn't like the Joe we got to know and love from book one, "Joe glanced at my abdomen with obvious amusement and the smallest hint of pride. When he spoke, there was laughter in his voice. "What sounds good?" There were some times when old Joe came out an

If you love Good Wood you're going to fall in love all over again with Molly wood. This is a light emotional read. You have a mix of about everything you would want, a touch of mystery / suspense, emotional pull and some pretty hot encounters. The story flows so well that you just can't put the book down.

Molly and Joe have and amazing pull with each other and their love is strong. They have their trouble just like real couples do. In this read you get little more of a look in to the make-up of

So first I want to say that I'm mad at Michelle Pace. Why you ask? Because she writes a books so good and then just leaves you wanting so much more. Which she promises you. In a third book.

I fell in love with Molly and Joe, not only as a couple but as individuals, in Good Wood. And that love not only continued but grew in Mollywood.

Mollywood picks up a few months where Good Wood left off. And Molly and Joe aren't in the best place. Not where you think they are going to break up. They've left the

After reading Good Wood the first in the Carved Hearts series, I had to read Mollywood.
This book picks up with more of Joe and Molly's story. They are living together, and both have businesses that are thriving, so what could be wrong? They seem to be battling each other more and more. Neither of them wants to be in a battle with the other, it just seems to happen.
And then fate steps in and throws them a curve ball. We see Joe unravel fairly quickly from the stress in his life. Molly is still

I didn't think it was possible for Michelle and Les Pace to top Good Wood but Mollywood has done just that! Although it can be read as a stand alone, I would highly recommend reading Good Wood first. Mollywood picks up right where the reader would want it to... in the midst of Molly and Joe's lovely but complicated relationship. These relatable characters hook you in and their chemistry is palpable. The true-to-life everyday struggles and push and pull with each other ranges from hilarious at ti ...more

Following on from Good Wood, and you really SHOULD read that first, we rejoin Molly and Joe a little while after they moved in together. With both of them faced with blossoming businesses, they are struggling. When they are dealt a hand by Fate that knocks them to their very core, can Molly and Joe hold it together enough??

I struggled a bit with this one, although I really enjoyed Good Wood, so I am at a loss as to WHY. Its written the same way, from each of their POV, in the first person, but e

>Book Review - Mollywood -

>I am an independent reviewer. This is the second novel in the Carved Hearts series.

>Molly and Joe are living together and expecting twins. Knowing Joe's past, a reader can see how having yet another woman expecting his children could freak Joe out. Couple Joe's hidden feelings with Molly's feelings of insecurity and pregnancy hormone freak outs and the reader can see the theme of communication coming into play.

I don't know why this book is so adictive, probably it's because is a sweet romance, anyway there are a few things that I didn't like about it.

This book has a Twilight complex, where the female character over idealizes the male character, and frankly that is really annoying.

Molly is really inmature, impulsive girl taking hasty decisions. She is a bit of a tornado, stubborn, explosive.

Joe keeps trying to overcome his loss, he seems to have evolved more in this book.

Joe *sigh*

As soon as I finished reading book one, I dived into book two. I don't regret it. I loved it more than the previous one. We got to see the evolution of these characters; as individuals and as a couple. And it's not easy, because they still have things to overcome. Things to let go of.

But once that happens, things start working out for them.

There's a scene where *tiny spoiler* Joe got pissed and, after holding everything inside, he snapped and defended Molly and hoo-boy! Absolute swoon

Mollywood broadens Joe and Molly's romance and makes it much more solid. They're taking things one day at a time. The biggest obstacle seems to be finding time for each other - Molly has two trucks and an opportunity to expand even further, while Joe has returned to carving and opened his own business. His anger issues seem to be behind him and he's still seeing his psychiatrist. Joe seems to finally come to terms with the loss of his late wife, Jess, and their unborn son, Jack. Molly and Joe have been through so much but they have finally found their way to each other and are finally living together, but things aren't quiet as prefect they want it to be.

With their lives becoming busier and crazier all the time the two barely have enough time for each other and when they do all they seem to be able to do is argue. When they get some shocking news both are scrambling to find a way to patch things up and be there for each other.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

This is the second book in the Carved Hearts series and picks up soon after Good Wood ended. Wrapgasmic had taken off and Molly finds herself working long hours. Joe's woodcarving business Good Wood has more work then he has time for and the couple find that they spend very little time together. What time they do spend together is spent bickering. Joe has really started to come out of his shell in this book. He is so afraid of losing Moll

This is exactly what a Series is supposed to be like. Mollywood continues where Good Wood left off. When it begins, they've been moved in with each-other for 8 months. I won't give it away but not too long after the books starts, a MAJOR curve ball gets thrown their way and because of this curve ball, because of Joe and Molly's pasts (on both their ends) they end up retreating into themselves instead of eachother and in turn, it threatens their whole relationship and

Molly and Joe's story continues. They may have finally found their way to each other and accepted that they should be together but when two people with troubled past combine the past is bound to become the present.

Inner demons cloud both their heads, they hardly ever see each other because of crazy work schedules, they are constantly battling over little things. Little things that turn into huge arguments. Then fate see fit to throw them a twist!

This is a great story of watching Joe and
