Angel's Awakening was a lot better than I initially thought it would be coming from a new author. The writing itself was very good, with lots of strong details. I really liked that the characters all were unique and had their own quirks that came through in their actions and speech. The heroine herself was pretty awesome, she was strong willed and smart enough to know when she was making a mistake and when she just needed to push on. The story itself was a fun mix of urban fantasy and romance. T ...more

Overall I like the book.
The characters have a lot of depth and are multi-faceted, their real-ness can be felt as they struggle with making decisions between doing what is right and figuring out a way to be with the one they l♥ve.
The story itself was enjoyable. I feel that a prequel might be helpful so readers don't feel as if they're being thrown into the middle of a story.
Great for a debut novel !!

I had a couple of problems with this story. First, I get that the character's knew each other a long time ago. I get that they were in love. What I don't get is the love. Maybe there should have bee flashbacks to when they were just first a budding love. Better character development would have helped to. These character's are obsessively focused on each other, it got annoying rather quick, but you would think with as much focus as there is on the relationship, I would understand how they a good ...more

3.75 sparkly Angel Wings rounded up to 4.

I love a good Angel story. All those wings, and sin, and unexpected twists.
This new to me Author delivered a satisfying read.

Charouth is an Elite Angel, on probation for having an illicit affair with Fallen Angel, Azazel. Azazel was assumed dead after disappearing two thousand years ago. Charouth is shocked when she encounters her ex-lover while on a hunt with a human

Charouth is trying to redeem herself after a 2,000 year old love affair got her demoted from Heaven’s elite. She is now poised to reclaim her position as she searches for Artefacts that could be the keys to Satan’s prison

Only Hell has their own agents searching for these relics – including Azazel, her old, long missing lover.

This book has a lot of intriguing elements. We have a lot of angelic politics with the Archangels clearly following their own agendas and Charouth being caught in the politi

**I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

This was my first time getting a free copy of a book in exchange for a review. I usually have so little free time to read that I am very picky. I normally stick to UF rather than PR because I like the character and story development. I thought this book might be a good compromise because it is a PR series, but it would have been a DNF for me had I not felt compelled to finish it for the review. I didn't not like it

I liked the premise of this story. It's hard to keep things fresh or different when there is so much to choose from these days. The main characters, being a fallen angel and an elite angel, have a prior history together, and have just ran into each other after a 500 year separation. The story focuses on what has brought them together, the challenge they have to find certain relics, whilst working on opposite sides of the fence.

I enjoyed the world building. I found the scene descriptions good wi

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. I loved it and couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Very good story line and strong characters. Charouth is about to regain her status in the Elite Angle's in Heaven. But she has just one more mission to finish. Will it go as planned or will she have to complications of her ex lover in the way?

These aren't your average angels, then again is the anything average about an angel? Well in this case there is some major stuff going on and with angels that were thought to be lost show up and old flames are rekindled things spiral out of control with a quickness. But when it comes out that some of the heavenly angels had something to do with fallen being tortured all bets are off. This isn't the heaven you were taught to believe in. Nothing is what it seems and now that the stakes are rising ...more

A book with a kick ass heroine always demands my attention !!!

Charouth - Elite Angel + Azazel - fallen angel = romance, action, sex, plot.

char tries to regain her status as an elite, she and her co elites are on hunt for few artifacts (which will cause earth destruction) ,those are at the same time searched by Azazel ,lucifer !!! the book has new POV abt angels however i wish the author has explained the world of angels and demons more elaborately , likewise wat happened to char and az during th
