Ok if you want to be a coach.

I'll have to say disappointing.
Joseph O'Connor's book the NLP Workbook was one of the first ever NLP books I ever read and it was one of my favorites.
This book though is just a bunch of ideas thrown here and there, with an overpromise on the cover "Become a Master Coach." Very far from delivering that.
The usefulness of this book was a max 10 pages, plus a couple of the resources.
The weak point is that it has a lot of NLP but that is very embedded in non jargon words l, that the layman reader won't get unless they have NLP experience and if they do have NLP experience it will be very basic.
Now if the book was named, introduction to coaching, here are a few techniques some coaches use that may or may not help you, it would've probably fit better.

Думата "коуч" може да се преведе на български по около една дузина начини, но може би най-често сме свикнали да я чуваме в американските филми като жаргонно обръщение на спортист към треньор: "тренер". Преди доста години няколко човека се замислили дали най-добрите атлети са на върха именно, защото си имат коуч. И дали коучинга може да се приложи и извън спорта?
В средата на 70-те години на миналия век Джон Гриндер, професор по лингвистика и Ричард Бандлър, професор по психология са създали НЛП. НЛП е абревиатура на Неврология, Лингвистика и Програмиране.
Моделите на невролингвистичното програмиране могат да бъдат преподавани на други хора, така че да постигнат това, което пожелаят.
Казано по-простичко тази книга е учебник по положително мислене. Това четиво ни учи как чрез серия малки решения да променим живота си по един изцяло позитивен начин. Едно от нещата, които трябва да направим за да бъдем успешни е да си поставяме цели:
"Целите са мечти с крака - те отиват някъде."
Коучингът може да се специализира в пет области: бизнес коучинг, коучинг на ниво изпълнителен директор, кариерен коучинг, лайф коучинг, спортен коучинг.
Интересно е как двамата автори боравят с думите. В тази книга рапорт е разбирателство, връзка на взаимно уважение и въздействие.
Вътрешна екология - как различните мисли и чувства на човека се свързват за да са в съответсвие или несъответствие.
За мен беше интересно да науча, че в португалския език има две думи за глагола "съм". Едната е за нещо временно, отнасящо се до състояние на ума и тялото - estar. Глаголът ser обаче е за нещо, което е постоянно.
"Превърнете във временно всяко отрицателно вярване."
"Превърнете в постоянно всяко положително вярване."
