One More Game

Rate this book
First came the heart-pounding intensity of Sara's Game, a former Kindle Daily Deal and USA Today bestseller. Then, the breathtaking sequels, Sara's Past and Sara's Fear, continued the terrifying journey where no one was safe and evil played by its own rules. Now, Lindsey returns with a final chapter, One More Game, the thrilling spin-off from The Sara Winthrop Series. **Novella-length title.**

Teddy Rutherford, former coworker and arch nemesis of Sara Winthrop, now turned trusted friend and multi-millionaire, has left the United States behind for the supposed safety of Moscow. His beautiful and tolerant wife, Irina, pregnant and thrilled to once again be back in her homeland, has only one word of advice: "Relax."

As if anything were really ever that easy in the life of Teddy Rutherford, especially when his closest in-laws are aren't shy about their connections to the Russian mafia. When Teddy tries to help, and the delivery of a small briefcase goes terribly wrong, he may find out just how many lives he has left.

One More Game

I've read all four of "The Sara Winthrop Thriller Series," and I have to say I have already bought ALL but the child's book written by Ernie Lindsey, to date. Which I may buy (hardcover) for my granddaughter.
THAT'S HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS AUTHOR and HIS BOOKS !!!
The series is busting at out the seams with mystery, drama, intrigue .... nails-on-the-chalk-board suspense. It keeps you guessing between three to four characters as in who the villain is And, no spoiler tips will be given. I read the series as fast as I could, given free time to read, during the Christmas season.
Well, fellow readers, if you have never read a book by Ernie Lindsey, take a chance with this author. The first

It wasn't a bad book, but it's hard to do a thriller in a novella length book. I also feel like the Sara Winthrop books really should have ended with the first one. The other books seemed like a bit of a stretch and this one was no different. It seemed odd that they moved to Russia and that it was just a plot device rather than a real reason that they would move back to Irina's motherland.

Ridiculous situations

Teddy & Irina, in very odd situation where anything can & does happen. A good transfer of skills trying to combat villian...

Fun Novella

Quick little read with a bit of continuing storyline. Worth the download if you're a fan of Teddy & Irina.

Very short, easy read

I liked the spin off of Teddy and him having his own story. It's very short and an easy read.

This was just a average mystery, and I pretty well had the killer pegged halfway through the book. But there was just enough uncertainty and guessing, that it kept me interested. I didn't like the cruelty involved in the perp's plot, though. I usually don't mind that kind of thing, because I read a lot of FBI, CIA, DEA, espionage, and criminal fiction with great detectives, usually with a psychological twist in one character or another. So I get lots of war scenes or street scenes or whatever. Some of the things in this story though were harder for me to stomach. Won't give any spoilers. The story wraps up well and satisfying.
