A Christian archeologist and a Jewish archeologist get together to make a dictionary of all the finds in the Holy Land around the time of Jesus. It is fascinating history verified by facts and so easy to use - just look up the subjects in alphabetical order. Did you know, for example, that it was COMMON PRACTICE to visit a tomb after three days because the Jews knew they could not diagnose death with absolute accuracy? A whole new light on the Jesus story. And I was moved by so many things - for example, the sandals on the cover could have been worn by Jesus himself. It was real!
