The built up made it seem it would be a big battle...
...however, it was over before it started. Arata & company had about as much trouble vanquishing the alternate dimension demon lord evil doppelganger, as I would in a no-holds-barred match against Mr. Whipple. Or Bozo the Clown lol. However, new things were learned, revelations were made, & everyone made it home relatively unscathed (if not relatively unclothed, like Lilith, for one). Now, the school festival starts! Who is that black-haired beauty, & why is she trying to seduce Arata? Or does she have evil intentions? She obviously knows who he is. Looks like more trouble is headed for Biblia Academy & it's residents! Art, very nicely done. I just love all the gorgeous girls & all the eye candy. Arata's "wife" & his "mistress" are forces to be reckoned with. Both are sexy, sensual, loving, naughty, & devoted. He's one helluva lucky guy! Throw Lilith in the mix & that lad is in paradise. Dialogue, excellent, exciting, & so, so interesting. Characters, likeable, intriguing, entertaining, engaging, & just down-right fun.
There was actually a little humor in this volume, but damn little. The real problem with this series is that none of the characters have any substance. How do you fall in love with a glass of water?
