I love Seth ... the one and only TRUE "Mr. Broadway". Not only is he multi-talented, he knows and has worked with nearly everyone. Seth's Broadway Diary, Vol.1 reads just like Seth talks. So much so, I could hear his voice in my head as I read. If you are a big fan of Broadway and Bway performers but haven't yet discovered Seth-- you are going to absolutely love this book. Covering April 2007 through the end of 2008, you'll follow Seth's experiences, the celebs he interviewed and many, many wonderful stories about the business and the colorful people that make it great. SBD is full of laugh-out-loud stories from cover to cover. Looking forward to the release of volume 2!
I absolutely love Seth Rudetsky. If you're a fan of his Sirius XM show or any of his other books, this one won't disappoint. This book is bursting with funny, geeky theater stories and trivia and is perfect for any Broadway nerd (like myself). This has been the most fun I've had with a book in ages and I never wanted it to end. I cannot wait for the second volume. 5 stars.
Being the actress/Broadway nerd that I am, a Broadway book by Seth Rudetsky sounded pretty fantastic. And really, it was. I got some great stories out of this and Seth is just really funny in general.
Fantastic collection of his columns from Playbill.com. Lots of Broadway dish and backstage antics, along with funny commentary. If you know and like Seth's writings, you know what to expect. This does not disappoint!
