Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe these novellas.
I love this series so bad my heart is crying with feels. I think it will take me years to forget this series. Not. It will remain in my heart forever.

It was nice seeing the broken boy from 'Friends' to grow up to be a proud father and happy husband in 'Forever.' Haven really helped Carmine heal and they so deserved their happy ending. It was a really nice little glimpse in their life after all the mayhem they went through. Little Maura was adorable, especially in the scene with Corrado ♥

4 Forever Stars.
These book is divided in two parts: Friends and Forever.
In the first one we get to know the friendship between Nicholas and Carmine and how it ended. It was a slightly harder to read because it lead us to a past where Carmine still was that broken boy who blamed everything and everyone for his pain.
But then, in the second part, we have the happily ever after.
In Forever we get to see what become of Carmine and Haven’s life and how deservedly happy they are now.
For us, that lived with their pain, and their struggles and followed their story, this is an amazing gift: being able to see that after what they’ve been through, every pain was worthy.
For “Sempre” fans, this is a novella you can’t definitely miss.
Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: In this book we have a “pre-Haven” Carmine in “Friends” and a “post-Haven! Carmine in “Forever”. I can honestly say I love them both (the post Carmine, more, but still.) I love how he grew up and what he become after everything he endured. And Haven, it was good to read more about her. I loved her as well. It was nice to see more of Dom, Corrado and Celia and the kids.

One of the best novellas I've ever read. My fucking feels can't even handle it. I'm going to miss the DeMarcos and the Morrettis. I don't know if I should cry or laugh on Corrado Morretti right now (especially when you read Made first. GOD FEELS). Overall, I love this one. Hands down.

It was the perfect ending to Carmine and Haven's love story. Their little daughter, Maura, was adorable! I cracked up when they went "Tricky treat" to Corrado's and he was clueless.

From Sempre we know Carmine and Nicholas used to be close friends and in this short story we get the reason for the fallout. Like most teenagers with too much money and no parental guidance, Carmine and Nicholas are used to getting into trouble with no consequences.
Well, of course it's Carmine that crosses the line but then they each keep elevating the situation to the point of no return. Such a shame and very sad.
Forever: 5 stars
Forever takes place after Sempre: Redemption. Carmine and Dom take their families trick or treating. The scene between Corrado and Carmine's daughter, Maura, was very sweet. And the bedtime story Carmine told her was precious. I teared up a bit. Well done.

Lo ha sido siempre y con estas historias lo corrobore. El loco adolescente y el dulce papa. Nadie como él, ninguna historia tan hermosa y obscura como Sempre.
Que increíble es esta autora. Regalándonos estas dos historias para recordar tan entrañables personajes.
Sin duda J.M. Darhower sigue en mi top de autores favoritos.
Nunca me había emocionado tanto al leer un libro, como con este. Con solo 45 paginas, me hizo suspirar, reír incluso llorar. Y yo no soy del tipo sentimental.

Fans of Sempre this is a must read. Need to read the first two books in the series before you read FRIENDS AND FOREVER.

Was good to see the progress that Carmine made. From a lost teen to an amazing dad. My favourite part was in the Forever book...Corrado was just great with Maura. Want more of these interactions :)

Short fast little reads. Gives some nice background. Strange that this stuff was left out while constantly being hinted at when there was so much unnecessary filler in these books that added little or no value.

When I tell you I gasped out loud multiple times I am not lying. I almost didn't read these novellas but thought, why not? They dive a tiny bit more into the Sempre world and give just a little more insight into some backstory between Nick and Carmine's falling out, as well as Carmine's HEA after Redemption.

This is one of the best stories I have read for halloween. Sempre Series is absolutely Epic. Reading a short halloween story with Carmine, Haven, Tess, Dominic, Little Vincent and Little Maura is absolutely perfection. Reading this story not knowing uncle Corrado is in it, OMG! I had a Blast!

waaaaaaaah this was such a tease. But like one of those really good teases where your head is about to explode and you just keep asking for more. Friends: fuck i always get so sad when i think about Nicholas and then with this, you got to see how Carmine and him were like practically brothers. Asshole brothers but brothers none the less. Fucken Nicholas sister tho i wanted to punch her in the tits. And the thing Nicholas says at the end about how he would have forgave him eventually NOOOO HOLD ME. ok so now Forever: Daddy Carmine is so fucken sweet i can't take it. Remember in Sempre when Carmine would call Haven tesoro and i was a melted puddle every time? well every time Carmine called Maura piccola i became a big blob of jello. He's so sweet with her even with the swearing and well being Carmine. Getting a glimpse of Corrado and Celia was really sweet. i love those two especially how they are with Maura. and Corrado and Carmine kinda bonding a bit? someone punch me in the face that was glorious. And lovely lovely Maura, one of my favorite lines "she colpo di fulmine'ed his ass." ;____; Carmine as a dad is a wonderful beautiful thing. And okay thank you for that little bit of loving between Carmine and Haven at the end, i was laughing at the "I love you Haven i do, but i'm not ready for you to pop out a half dozen kids." Carmine please never change. Can we always get novellas like these please?

It was interesting to see Carmine in his youth with all his troubles after his mom's death. His relationship with Nick, his best friend and what came between them. His interactions with Dom and of course poor Vincent! Second part of the book and it was fantastic to see Carmine in his role as daddy and how little Maura had everyone including Corrado wrapped around her little finger! Still want Vincent and Maura's story!! Miss these characters immensely definitely a series that I will reread!!
