I didn't enjoy this as much as what I've read of Dalton's other work, mainly due to the pervasive sense of "what might have been" that haunts the major characters. Yes, I know that's the point, and it's done well, but perhaps a bit too well. The regret is palpable, and the conclusion is as happy as possible while letting everyone remain true to themselves.

If you've read either Amber or The eGirl, this is much closer to the latter than to the former, but less enthusiastic in its sexuality (while

One thing I can say for sure is that I was not expecting this story to end the way it did. Poor Tom. We all probably have that one person in our youth that we desperately wanted but, for whatever reason, couldn't have.

The Teaser takes us on a journey of lost opportunities, choices that have devastating consequences, but also learning and growing from our mistakes. I have to be honest and say I wished for a different ending. But, alas, this was Tom's journey and not mine.
