This is another really good book from Callie Hutton. I love second chance love stories.

Rachael could never see herself married again as her first marriage was not to someone who truly loved her! The best part of that marriage was the birth of her son Will. After her husband dies she vowed to never marry again. Th e new foreman at the ranch where she worked had other plans though. Will and Rusty became the best of friends and Rachael knew this would spell trouble because she wanted Will to grow up and have a college degree which she never did.

When I found this book, and read the reviews, I looked forward to reading it with great anticipation. I usually love western historical romances, but this one didn’t capture my attention. I did not feel any chemistry between Rachel and Rusty. The attraction between them lacks any fire, even when they give into their desire there just is not much passion. Now, it’s by far not the worst book I’ve ever read, but it is certainly not the best either. I found the story line a bit bland for my tastes. ...more

# 3 in the "Oklahoma Lover" series, but can be read as a stand alone. A wonderful story of second chances and country romance. Fast paced. Meet, Rachel Stevens, a widow with a young son and the cook at the Lazy Sunset ranch. And Rusty McIntyre, the Lazy Sunset Ranch's forearm, who suddenly learns he has a fourteen year old daughter. Both used to being own their own, soon learns it takes a community to make a family. Well written with detail and engaging characters. Realistic and emotional.

Callie Hutton has done it again! She has another winner! If you like westerns, this one is for you. This story is about ranch foreman Rusty McIntyre and ranch cook, widow Rachel Stevens. They originally meet in the town mercantile when her young son, Will, is running down the aisle and runs into a new-in-town Rusty. As Rusty is being knocked over, he runs into a spool rack and knocks them onto the floor. He tells Will to help him pick up the spools and tells Rachel she needs to be in better cont ...more

#3 in the "Oklahoma Lover" series, but can be read as a stand alone, set in 1906 Guthrie, Oklahoma. See, " A Run for Love", and "A Prescription for Love". This is the tale of Rusty and Rachel, their love and life. Fast paced with second chances, romance, love, patience and trust. And of course, a couple of children in the mix. Light hearted, and emotional. Well written with engaging and interesting characters. The storyline was intriguing. If you enjoy Western Historica

Charming country romance!
Lovers of western romance, will love A Chance to Love Again, nicely written by Callie Hutton. It's a love story, set in Oklahoma, of a strong-minded woman and a charming cowboy. Rachel is a young widow and the mother of a young boy named Will; Rusty is a handsome cowboy, the new foreman, also, with a teenage daughter named Amelia. Some scenes are filled with humor and tenderness. Will Rachel be able to resist his charm? Will she dare take a chance to love again? Ms. Hut

Rusty and Rachel meet in circumstances that have both characters flustered in all the wrong ways. Many laugh out loud moments and chemistry between Rusty and Rachel have sparks flying between each other. Both characters are thrown into a whirlwind of emotions throughout the story. Twists throughout the story bring to light further challenges for Rusty and Rachel. Some tense moments in the story have the reader's attention riveted.
Another brilliant instalment in the Oklahoma Lovers series by Call

Things change

Callie Hutton is a very versatile writer,I love how she describes in in detail, almost like you can taste, feel the textures, and smell. You can picture Wills impish character, his mother attitude and picture Rusty as he realizes he fell in love. a beautiful journey of healing, believing, and learning to trust. You won't want to put it down.

What a wonderful story! I love how Callie Hutton writes such full and realistic characters and settings. Even though I fully expected a happy ending, and had read in the preview that there would be an unknown daughter thrown in, the story was new and exciting. Such an interesting and fun, with only a few tears thrown in this time, book. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
