Here we are at installment two in the series...Remember what I said about ominous clouds on the horizon? Well folks, it clouded up real quick and poured buckets. Oh yeah, things are riding high and in a blink they weren't. Oh and I really hated to be right about what way the heroine would jump about things too. Oh yeah, when things got real, she was out of there faster than a cat hearing the word 'bath'.

This was a shorter installment and most definitely needs to be read after book one. They lead

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***I bought this book last year!

The cover is awesome!

This is the 2nd book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the violence and steamy scenes. This book is about 100 pages long. I definitely recommend reading the books in order, so you know what is going on.

Okay, I definitely enjoyed the book, but I really wanted to slap Morgan a lot. She made a lot of mistakes, but she did get her act together in the end. I like Grey! He is loy

After the first book, I KNEW I had to have this one. You see, we meet everyone in book one, and learn a few things to come, but this one upped the stakes when people are starting to find out about Morgan and her being a white wolf. This is a big deal. And then Grey goes and kinda screws things up, because he doesn't know how to say things, and Morgan over reacts a little, but in her situation, I probably would have thrown a little fit as well. LOL Anyways, be prepared because this one is gunna h ...more

Ever want to grab two characters by the hair and bang their heads together? Yeah, me too. And things had been going fairly well in the first book. Apparently Morgan and Grey have forgotten how that whole conversation thing works. She assumes, then he assumes and the next thing you know they're not speaking and each of them has to have their very own TSTL moment. I am going to try to not get too spoilery, but there is a scene that happens that I couldn't help but compare to another book I read wh ...more

A lot of the events of BLACK WOLF'S REVENGE revolved around the couple avoiding each other which made things a bit slow going. There were a lot of times were the storyline was predictable. There is some action towards the end of the book which did a good job of adding a bit of suspense to get you through to the end. I enjoyed the secondary characters roles this go around, especially Marissas. It was great to learn more about her and see her come out of her shell.

I was really annoyed with both Mo

This book is the continuation of the story first started in SILVER WOLF CLAN. Grey has just asked Morgan to marry him, she says yes and is extremely happy…until he explains that their engagement and marriage is for the benefit of protecting Morgan and her young niece, Lana. Morgan doesn’t want to be anyone’s obligation and breaks up with Grey. While it’s the hardest thing she had to do, she wants someone to love her for her and not because she is a rare and priceless silver wolf.

Black Wolf's Revenge is the second book in the series, and picks up right after the first book. Morgan is still trying to just to her life as a werewolf and what that all entails, while at the same time desperately trying to hold onto a normal life for Lana. Morgan still holds a lot of resentment towards her pack and even Grey, because of what has happened to her, which causes her to push them further away. Unfortunately for her, this just leads to disaster, she's far too valuable to male wolves ...more

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars The first book in this series, Silver Wolf Clan, was a really good first book, or I should say novella, since it was pretty short. I completely enjoyed the read, so when I saw this book on Net Galley, I immediately knew I was going to request it in exchange for a fair and honest review.

In the first one, Morgan is on a camping trip with her sister, and her sister’s little girl. They are attacked by a wolf like creature, and her sister is killed. They are rescued by a man

Can love save misunderstandings? Grayson Crawford has had a hell of a time over the last year. Hiking in the woods he responded to the voices of women screaming for their lives. Arriving at the point of origin he found one woman dead and a woman and small child being attacked by what appeared to be a monster. And a monster it was – for a feral wolf had attacked. A feral werewolf.

Attacking, Grayson drove off the monster then fled into the woods. For the next six months, he was totally and comple

REVIEW
After reading and really loving the first book in the series, I couldn't wait to read more about Grey and Morgan. Even though I am on a self imposed book buying ban I just had to break it for this book and the price was an absolute bargain!

The cover has two wolves in the background, one with its head raised in the air howling. I am guessing these wolves represent Grey and Morgan. Once again the the foreground of the book is Morgan with her dark hair and purple/violet coloured eyes. The fon

Wow, just wow. I have never read any of Tera Shanley's books before, and let me just say I have been making a huge mistake! She is a wonderful author and I am so happy I found this series! I read book #1 and immediately picked up book #2! I can't believe what I've been missing! Shanley is a breath of fresh air. Black Wolf's Revenge is a beautifully written love story with so much to offer. I was sucked in from the first page of

I finished Silver Wolf Clan and started reading this almost immediately figuring I would read a couple chapters and see where this one picked up. I closed the first book thinking Morgan and Grey were starting their own pack…GADS! Nope, nope, Nope.

Ok, admittedly I did not read the synopsis, which clearly states, “Houston, we have a problem.” I hate relationship drama and miscommunication and that is where we find ourselves. Grrr. Morgan and Grey both have strong personalities and this led to Morg

This is an urban fantasy novella which is suitable for Young Adult or adult readers.

In the previous book, which I had not read, a girl called Morgan was bitten by a werewolf. Now in accordance with the tales she has begun to change into a wolf in turn. Her shapeshifter friends tell her that her pale coat means she is a silver wolf. This is very rare and potentially a prize. Silver wolves can often have offspring where most werewolves cannot. Other packs are bound to find out and try to claim he

Black Wolf's Revenge (Silver Wolf Clan #2) by Tera Shanley Black Wolf's Revenge by Tera Shanley is an entertaining werewolf story.  Morgan Carter is a newly turned werewolf that is raising her niece, Lana.  It is discovered that Morgan is a silver wolf; the only wolf that can have werewolf offspring.  She becomes a hot commodity to other packs and needs the help of Greyson Crawford to protect her.  At 119 pages, this book is a quick read that I flew through.  I did not read the first book of the ...more

It is the second book in the Silver Wolf Clan series. You could read it without reading the first book but I would advise you to read them in order. You'll know more that way and it will lead you to appreciate what the characters go through.

This book has adventure, action, danger, some mystery, romance and great characters too.

If you like werewolves, you need to read these!

I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion. I thought it was great and I am eager for the next book!

Book 2 in the series picks up right where book 1 ends, with Morgan and Grey just literally getting engaged. Their brief moment of happiness ends when Morgan learns that she is a rare silver wolf, one of the few females in the werewolf world who can breed. Grey tells her in a very serious, not at all emotional way, that he has an obligation to protect her with his life, causing Morgan to irrationally sever ties with Grey because she wants a man to love her not to be forced to be with her. The things begin again exactly where they had been completed in the first book: after Alexis bit Morgan, sh became a werewolf, the only one of her kind since many years: a silver wolf. The concern, it is that her condition endanger her and Lana, and that Grey is the only one able to protect them. Everything was well, they were to marry until an enormous misunderstanding which will separate them and destroy them with small fire. While wanting to be strong and independent, Morgan is likely to lose ...more

This is actually the second part in the serialized novel Silver Wolf Clan by Tera Shanley and it would also be best if they are read in order. In Black Wolf's Revenge Morgan and Greyson have been an informal part of the Dallas Werewolf Clan and because Morgan is a rare silver wolf which is a rare breeder it is imperative that she be claimed right away. Grey has always loved Morgan and it was no hardship to claim and protect her at the same time along with her niece Lana. He is also somewhat of a ...more

I’ve been on a shifter kick lately, so when I saw this on NetGalley I requested it right away.

This is the second book in the series. I didn’t read the first book and I feel like I missed a lot by having skipped it. I would recommend reading them in order.

I liked the world and the basic premise. Fated mates can be great or terrible, but I thought the concept here was interesting. They’re meant to be mates, but they have to accept each other for the claim to stick.

The execution lacked a bit of fin

Alexis attacked Morgan with the intent to kill and no remorse. We are told early on in the first book that a “man eater” is the worst kind of werewolf and it is a crime punished with death. Grey’s wolf is even dominant over him, but for some odd reason let Alexis live. Then instead of her pack killing her they send her off somewhere else. They sent her off with the knowledge that a legendary Silver Wolf lives with her old pack. But they want to keep Morgan’s heritage a secret? None of that made ...more

Black Wolf's Revenge is the story of Morgan & Greyson. The book starts with Grey proposing marriage to Morgan. She accepts of course because she is in love with him. Then comes the problem...a conversation starts about what color wolf she is and it seems she is a Silver Wolf, apparently the only one that can reproduce. She needs to be protected from other wolf packs.

Born and raised in small town Texas, Tera Shanley grew up in books. Her cousin gifted her a signed copy of Beauty by Bill Wallace when she was young and that was it for her. So smitten was she with getting lost in a story, that while other eleven year olds her age were groaning at the accelerated reader program in school, she was racking up the points just for fun.
