‘Harvest Moon’ is the third episode of the book ‘Behind the Stars’. It starts where ‘Learning to Spy’ left off. This part focuses on the friendship of Prentiss and Gallatin. Prentiss wants to discover a way to run away and get information out of Gallatin. In the previous parts Prentiss had flashbacks about Jackson and her previous life, which weren’t there in this episode. She has a lot of questions and starts to develop fe

This third installment of Beyond The Stars focuses on the growing friendship between captive, Prentiss Puckett and Gallatin who may or may not be an alien.

‘He laughed gently, and my eyes met his. It was an unexpected, pleasant sound, and his smile softened his features, making him seem less threatening. He did resemble Cato. He had her same tall elegance, and this boy who saved my life was actually handsome despite his scars. In that instant, I felt my guard lower, but I quickly restored it. Ge

Why was this happening? I wasn’t this kind of person. Other girls got their feelings all mixed up over boys, but I didn’t. That question had been settled in my mind years ago, and yet here I was acting like a starry-eyed little twit . I was failing in my job to rescue us. Everyone was counting on me, and here I was useless, fighting this battle with myself. I had to get it together. I had to get myself back on track, for all

As expected, Episode 3 begins on chapter ten and leaves you with an inexplicable desire to read more by the time you reach the conclusion of chapter fifteen. I could not put this book down and had to read it all in one day. So far, Prentiss is still confused about her confinement on the farm; however, she does find plenty of time to cure her loneliness with multiple travels to the creak nearby with Gallatin. The emotions are building up to where I am really liking Gallatin's personality and deme ...more

My Review: (4 stars/5)
Episode 3 begins on chapter ten and leaves you with an inexplicable desire to read more by the time you reach
the conclusion of chapter fifteen. Prentiss wakes up confused at first as she is undressed and not in her sleep tent. She sees Gallatin watching her and finally remembers she got hurt helping to birth the calf. She tries to get up and can’t. Gallatin helps her and gets her a change of clothes and pain pills (Motrin). She is reluctant at first, thinking they are poi

In the third volume of the Behind The Stars series, Harvest Moon, we get flashbacks on Prentiss' life before captivity. We were feeling disconnected with the characters in the first volume, but the flashbacks of Prentiss' life helps fill in the voids.

Prentiss and Gallatin are spending a lot of time together and find themselves escaping to a nearby creek on a daily basis. As Prentiss spends more time with Gallatin she tries to get pertinent info

Harvest Moon is the third part of the serial Behind The Stars. If you haven't had a chance to read the first two yet, I highly recommend starting at the beginning. This can NOT be read as a standalone. There may be some mild spoilers in my review.

The third part picks up where we left off. Prentiss and Gallatin have a tenuous friendship growing, which is becoming more confusing and unstable. One major difference I noticed in this episode is that the flashbacks are missing. I saw this as being a s

In the third book the friendship between Prentiss and Gallatin continues to grow. They sneak away each day to the creek. Even though the ultimate goal was to get information from Gallatin, Prentiss does not learn much about their situation. Their relationship seems like more than friendship to Gallatin. This confuses Prentiss.

The story continues to unfold the mystery behind the kidnappings. Prentiss begins to question many things in her life. You will see some more flashbacks to Prentiss past l

Man, this series is just getting good!! In this book Prentiss and Gallatin are becoming closer. She just wants to find out how to escape, he just wants to learn about them. Their friendship is growing, and she is starting to think more and more about Jackson.

I really love this series so far! It is so hard to wait to see what happens. I can try and guess, but I know that the conclusions that I come up with are going to be wrong. And I am glad

I could not put this episode down. The tension builds as Prentiss befriends Gallatin, one of her captors with the intent to gain information to help her and her friends escape. I feel very connected to Prentiss and invested in her story. I really liked Gallatin and had hopes that friendship might turn into something else. Again, I am reminded of the resemblance to Lost when I finish each episode. A lot has happened and yet there is still so much information that has not been given. Just enough t ...more

In part three of Behind the Stars, the plot really picks up. Moore has this way of equalizing internal feelings and drama in a way that makes both stand out and she's done it again in this installment. Prentiss is still trying to escape, but she's also falling for Gallatin, which is confusing, seeing as there is Jackson somewhere out there. Moore is also hinting to something being not quite right where Jackson is involved and I can't wait to see what that means for the story! ...more

I received an ARC of this book for review.
This is the third installment in the Behind the Stars series. Prentiss is beginning to have conflicting feelings. She is a beautifully written character she may be small but she is unbelievably strong in both the emotional and physical. Things are starting to change in this story and we are slowly putting the pieces together I can not wait to see what happens next. This is a truly addicting read.

Each episode gets better and better. I never want the story to end. We are getting pieces of what's going on and I can't get enough. Gallatin is starting to open up to her but Prentiss is also starting to have confusing feelings for him. She loves Jackson though, right....Another mind griping segment..I NEED more and more importantly where is JACKSON!!!

This is the third book in the series and I recommend reading the other two before starting. The story starts with Prentiss waking up in pain and not knowing what is going on. She is coming to from having the new born calf land on her. Gallatin is there to help her and get her pain pills. He is also there to help sneak her to the stream for little visits.

But the more time Prentiss spends with Gallatin the more she is starting to be attracted to him. Jackson is starting to become more of a memory

After not really enjoying the first two installments of Behind the Stars, I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to continue reading. However, the author sent me the third installment, Harvest Moon, so I decided to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did. While I still didn’t love it, I did like it better than the first two.

I can’t say that a ton really happened, but I really liked seeing the interactions between Prentiss and Gallatin. As their friendship grows, so does my curiosity. I really want to kno

As Prentiss looks for ways to escape, she starts to spend more time with Gallatin. Determined to get answers about the camp and their captors intentions, Prentiss follows Gallatin on excursions away from camp. As they spend more time together, Prentiss begins to soften towards him. Something that hasn’t gone unnoticed by her friends.

With trips through the woods becoming more frequent, Prentiss finds herself thinking more about her past with Jackson. Where is he? What signs about their relations

This is the third episode of the story.
This episode starts right when the second ends. It's right after the birth of the calf and we see how Prentiss changes in her relationship with Gallatin.
Prentiss is still determined to become friend with Gallatin so she can have some answers, but nothing goes as she has planned.
She and Gallatin become more friends and he shows a side of him very different from the other kidnappers. May
