Book 2 in The Bugging Out Series

An apocalyptic blight has long since turned the green earth grey. The world's few survivors face a never ending search for food, and a constant fight against those who have cast aside all morality in a bid to survive.

But in the midst of the worldwide horror, rumors of a sanctuary spread. Eagle One, the enigmatic destination, might be the last hope for civilization. If it can be found.

Eric Fletcher, who has reunited with his friend, Neil, at his Montana refuge, is planning to set off in search of Eagle One when the spring thaw comes. But an unexpected attack forces an early departure, thrusting the friends and those traveling with them into a battle against the darkest parts of humanity that cling to existence.

Well I have to say I am drawn into this fascinating book series. As with the first book this one was hard to put down. The characters are very enjoyable and the story very believable, I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out. Good job Mr. Mann!

A new look

I like this book! It is different, but oh so realistic. This author has done an excellent job of dealing with the apocalypse and without the cursing that many authors apparently can't tell a story without, relying on his imagination. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Stayed up all night to read because I couldn't put it down.

Pretty good book #2. Neil is sure lucky to be able to land a plane twice with no real lessons. I like how the new community is wary and how they are building. I don't understand Fletch so instinctively wanting to leave such a good place, but that set up nicely for the next book.

Very good series.

I usually like books with more action in them but this book kept my attention from the beginning till the end. It has a very different take on the end of the civilization then other books in the market. I'm not saying I don't like zombie books that ends the world but it is a good change from it. First book was Bugging Out witch was good and the second book Eagle One is even better. I can't wait for the third book Wasteland.

Eagle One review

Eagle One is the second book in The Bugging Out series written by author Noah Mann. It's a very good post apocalyptic story. In this book, the food is running out. They are off to find evidence of food growing in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Almost as good as the first

I liked this one almost as much as the first in the series. I like the author's style and the fact that he actually pays attention to doing some character development and not just lists of gear or the velocity of the bullet.
