The Cult
From New York Times bestselling author K.M. Scott comes a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
All you’ve ever wanted is yours for the taking. All you have to do is believe.
When Lara Simpson's sister goes missing, the only clue to her whereabouts is a pamphlet in Rina's apartment about a new self-help group in town, The Golden Light. Convinced they will lead her to Rina, Lara poses as a new member seeking guidance.
The charismatic leader of the group, a man named Micah who promises enlightenment, seems to care about his followers. However, Lara suspects that the real purpose of The Golden Light isn’t helping people at all, but something far more insidious.
The more Lara learns, the more she doubts that Rina left of her own accord. As Lara descends deeper into the group's hidden world, she begins to question her own sanity—and wonders if she’ll make it out alive.
Because once you join The Golden Light, you're a member forever.

I was hooked from the start! K.M. Scott has a way of pulling you into the story and keeping you hooked until the end. This story has ups and downs, twists and turns and was very unpredictable. You hear about instances like this happening, but you can never believe that it could happen to someone you love. This story tells how easily people can be persuaded to do things they would not normally do. Lara is very strong willed and cannot believe that her sister could ever be part of The Golden Light, she must have been kidnapped right? As Lara becomes part of the group she begins to see what The Golden Light is truly about, but will she survive to find her sister? I cannot wait to read another thriller by this author.

Wow, what a story,
Laura simpson
has a missing sister . Things get a little scary, but she's not going to stop until she finds her. sometimes you have to do things you would not normally do to find a family member. Things get a little deep. things get a bit dark Before you realize what's really going on .
This book is simply awesome.I read it in two days. it was so intense, where Laura ended up. Looking for her sister along the way, things that she goes through people that she will meet.
But the question is, will laura find her sister, will they survive. Man, this was a good book. Grab a copy, read it, check it out.See what it's all about.
Simply phenomenal.

A book you need to read.
I didn't know if I'd like this book, but I loved it. It takes you into the cult and how they get you to believe in their nonsense. It's about a girl who suspects her sister joined a cult and she she sets out to save her. What she finds out is stunning. It's a book I couldn't put down until I found out what happened. I just think the ending was a little confusing and needed some further explanation. This book is worth reading. K.M. Scott writes great stories.
