This book was good, even though it had taken me awhile to finish it.

Lol. In book 3 for Lexi and Luke birthday omg that part me has done for, I couldn't stop laughing especially the part where they said what Lexi had done. And for Raven, I can't seem to hate him even if he does the most stupidest things. In the end, everything turns out good. Can't wait to read part 4. He better not do anything stupid in that one. Lexi has been through enough.

I feel like I read a different book than everyone else...
This was not the amazing lovestory I thought it would be and it definitely wasn't as fulfilling as all the reviews made it out to be.

There was just too much angst and conflict without enough resolution. According to the book, if you just want something and wish enough it will happen. The author completely skipped over the couple seriously working through their issues separately and together and instead went straight for a unicorns and rain

This story was sooooo slow. I started reading this series in 2014 I think and I breezed through the first two books. Then when I started the last one I stopped reading it. Fast forward three years later and I figured I’d come back and try to finish it since I’ve been on this kick lately about trying to finish all the series I have ever started. (This is gonna be a lifelong commitment. )

I don’t know if my tastes have changed but I found this book kinda b

Raven had a lot of issues, issues that I could never even imagine someone having to deal with and live through. He pulled at my heart strings when he admitted the real reasons behind his actions. It's impossible not to love a man as beautiful and vulnerable as Raven and C.M. gave us everything. I felt all of his anger, pain, and frustration which made the book resonate with me even more.

I love Lexi as well, she did seem naive at times but I think that was why her and Raven worked so well togethe

Those 2 stars are me being generous. I think Ive read a completely different story than everybody else.
First off the relationship between Lexi and Raven is just all kinds of wrong. They never talk through their problems and everything is just okay without ever talking about it.
Plus the book gives the impression that love and faith is enough to change a person even though they have major issues.
Thats the next point, all the talk about God. I mean its okay when its mentioned but this was ridiculou

Amazing!!! I received this book this evening and couldn't put it down. This is one of my favorite series. After book 1 I fell hard into the Ravens Trap, book 2 drew me in deeper, and now with book 3 I love them even more. Raven and Lexi go through hell because of Ravens passed and the demons he still carries with him. Their love is strong but through the continuous bad choices that Raven makes, will he push Lexi to her breaking point, will their love with stand or will Raven and Lexi lose everyt ...more
I almost gave this one four stars, I wanted to give it five because the previous novels were so wonderful and I always cheer for the home team since I'm the DFW area.

I just couldn't do it. I liked the book but there was just too much about it that frustrated me. Raven keeps breaking her heart, throughout the entire series and finally in this installment Lexi just reminded me of one of those punching bags that keeps popping back up for another round, emotionally speaking. How many times does he

The love between the main characters is true passion, a love that we all dream about. Lexi goes through so much heart ache, but knows that her life will never be the same without Raven. The struggles that Lexi and Raven go through is a roller coaster of emotions that will have you laughing and crying. I felt like Lexi's feelings were my own. If she cried, I cried. If she got angry, I threw my kindle. This story was amazing from the beginning to the end. I would recommend this series to anyone wh ...more

The winning side is the 3rd book of the university series. Lexi and Ravens love gets stronger and more complicated.while raven battles his inner demons and Lexi stands on the side lines and try's her best to help him through it. After reading this book I cried like a baby and screamed from happiness. I give this book and author 10 stars plus more! I fell in the raven trap too!

The Winning Side - where to start?

I am trying to remain calm, not to rant and rave, I have so much I need to say about this book but I am going to keep it short and sweet. I apologise in advance, I am not going to give too much away as I believe this is the best book of the series!

Firstly Lexi is fantastic and such a strong female character, the crap she puts up with from weak people in her life - OMG She has this energy that draws people to help her and I loved how even Raven's friends stepped
Claire - The Coffeeholic Bookworm
Lexi's world crumbled when she learned about Raven's near-death mishap on New Year's eve. Against her family's wishes, she went to Raven's side and stayed with him until he regained consciousness. It was a bittersweet union, with Lexi knowing that his life was in danger and his career might just end.

But like in any other relationships, there were challenges that threatened their relationship, and Lexi strove hard to make it work with her man, even though everyone had been telling her she'd made

What a rollercoaster ending to the series. I enjoyed it even though Lexi and Raven are both immature in many ways. Being a mom, I wanted to slap them more than a few times. I was silently screaming 'STOP DRINKING AND STUDY'. They both made so many stupid mistakes, and I found myself siding with their parents more than I would have liked. It's what makes them more than characters; Real people make stupid mistakes. I know I did some dumb things when I first started dating my now husband at 17 . As ...more

First and foremost I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you for letting me read your book CM Doporto.
Wow. ok so this one had me go through all of the emotions. With this being the third book in the series, you become connected to the characters. I feel the development of each character has tremendously added to the depth of the story. Lexi has gone from meek and mousy to strong and a bit stupid. I am not sure I could keep going back, but love makes us do crazy

I was disappointed in the series period. I felt like she did more begging and groveling than anything. Oh I'm stuck in the this Ravens Trap, he is so beautiful, blah, blah, blah. He screwed up so many times. Who asks you to marry him, but leaves you by leaving town without a word. I really didn't enjoy this one.

Wow! I could read so much more about this couple - and I will with the novella and his side to the entire story!! Can't wait to see what Raven was thinking for some of the situations that popped up in this series.

Anyways, this book follows Lexi's big secret! Raven goes off the rails. Will Lexi be able to get Raven to calm down and get his crap together? And for those of us that are like, "Lexi, you gave him plenty of chances, he needs to come crawling to you!" This one goes back and forth on th

Good book, FINALLY finishes this book dang, took me so long to complete it I mean to finish it. It kind of sucks when you're a multitasker and can read more than one book at the same time and including your school books and don't get confused. And Raven had me in my feelings in this book especially how he did Lexi, and her being prego with his twins, had me wanting to through the book and smack his ahh fo real lol. Had me in my feelings but I am still team raven though.

The Winning Side

I feel like this title is so deceiving. There wasn't much winning going on in this book, but I think it made sense for the growth of Lexi and Raven. It still sucked.. a lot. Spring Break and Graduation. Two things to look forward to, but when there are dark clouds it isn't so easy. As always, I love Lexi and REALLY love Raven, so I'll excuse all of the crazy!

I have obsessed over this series all week! It’s just amazing! I loved it so much I’ve stayed up until 3 am reading every single night since I picked up the first book! It is hands down my newest favorite series now.

5 stars without a doubt. I would encourage everyone to read it!

Let me start by saying this is not a standalone book. I started reading The Winning Side before any of the other books and I was so frustrated halfway through that I had to go back and read book 2 to get the backstory.

This book picks up right after book 2 ends continuing Lexi and Raven’s story. Like most books, there are things that I like and some things that make me want to pull my hair out. In my opinion this is a true young adult book. The story is one that most older high school an

I received this as an ARC from the author with the stipulation that I would leave an honest review. So here goes . . .

Most women are drawn to the man with a past. It's that man who has so many skeletons and demons lying in wait to destroy him, that the woman just sits on the sidelines ready to fix him with a roll of duct tape and a bottle of super glue.

For Lexi Thompson, it has always been about Raven. From the day they met she was thrown into the "Raven's Trap" and loved being there, despite

OMG OMG OMG The Winning Side (University Park 3)!!!!! I have no words to describe, how much I loved this book. There was so much drama I didn't know what to expect next. And I honestly have no clue how to even begin to review this because...well...So. Much. Happened. I loved how the characters matured from the first book, especially how determined and independent Lexi grew. I started it when I woke and never put it down. It had me hooked. Its definitely my favourite out of the three books. I

This is the third book to this series and the conclusion to Lexi and Raven's story. I first started reading this series earlier this year and I really enjoyed reading them all and connecting with all the characters. This is a must read series and this book is something I believe everyone should read! It's pretty amazing!

Lexi is an honest, trustworthy, and a brave person. When she makes a promise, she sticks to it. So when she promised Raven that she would always be there for him and help him in

4 1/2 stars!

The Winning Side was definitely my favorite out of this series. The hardship, the tears, the happiness, the laughs, everything about this book made it magical and easy to fall in love with.

The Winning Side picks up right where The Same Side ends, and Raven and Lexi have an uphill battle to go through. Raven is dealing with what happened that night that he ended up in the hospital, Lexi is dealing with trying to figure out what went wrong, and if Raven still loves her, and they are d

The Winning Side by CM Doporto is the third book in the University Park Series and picks up right after Raven has blown it at a party and finds himself hospitalized and in hot water. Lexi has found herself once again sucked into “The Raven’s Trap”, only this time Raven is also in his own trap and drowning. His future is in the hands of the coach and University and their willingness to give him another shot, trusting that he can make better choices in the future. As Raven and Lexi try to rebuild ...more

Raven, Raven, Raven I am forever in your trap. I received The Winning Side last night and didn’t finish until four a.m. I could not put it down; I was completely consumed in the love story of Raven and Lexi. The Winning Side is by far my favorite book of the University Park Series. CM Doporto you did a phenomenal job. The novel was beautifully written and left me a hot mess.
The thing I loved most about this book was how Raven and Lexi connected on a completely different level than in the first

Hmm. I feel like this book did not give the full committment that this series deserved. I definitely felt like Raven being a pansy the more the series went on while Lexi grew up into a smart, well-developed woman that she was capable of being.

But I really think the ending (before the epilogue) should have been opposite. (view spoiler)
