Ok so plenty of the ingredients in this book is not sold in SA with the brand name supplied here. So I did not actually try to make any of these although they did sound mouth watering. I bake a lot so I can spot a good easy recipe a mile off. These are all good and easy. But the book should have photos in it of the end product.. I bake with my eyes first.
Still, not a bad book.. AND it is still free on Amazon so go try it yourself.
As a baker I was excited to see and possibly make holiday treats based on romance novels. It’s always fun when charters or series have cookbook released.
The first half of the book was good and I marked multiple recipes to try. I’m looking forward to seeing some of these in person since there were no pictures at all in the book. I do prefer a cookbook with some pictures, it gives the baker additional guidance on the finished bake.
I was less than impressed with the second half of the book. I think multiple of these authors do not bake. They were describing improper techniques that will leave you and your kitchen a mess. Also some of the cookies did not seem holiday inspired.
If you can find it for free I think it’s worth it for a few of the recipes.
Title: Good or Naughty, who doesn t like cookies?!!!!
I actually finished this book before Christmas (somewhere around the 13th), it s Cookies ! ! ! ! Who doesn t like cookies? You need to find that person a doctor, there s obviously something wrong with them.
I finished the book and because it was the Holidays, I just had to do some taste testing. Yes, I know I m going to go on another diet next year, but this is now! Trust me when I say that you ll be able to find at least a handful of favorites to choose from. I did.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful end of year Holiday Season!

I love to collect cookie cookbooks (actually cookbooks in general) This collection has easy to follow directions and exact measurements. I have gotten free cookbooks on my kindle that I'm going to take off. Incomplete directions and recipes that leave me wondering WTF!
Tried a few of these and they're so simple and easy to make. I loved the shortbread recipe and they tasted amazing. Well worth looking at this book even if you are a novice baker.

Great recipes delicious cookies. Recipes from other countries, good varieties. Great variety of choices. Some include candied fruit and a variety of nuts.
Interesting cookie recipes but it would have been helpful to have pictures of the finished cookies. And I would have liked nutritional information too. There are a few recipes that I would like to try. The table of contents would have been more helpful if the recipes were listed in order. The intro was good.
