OMG!!! I'm speechless, this series just keeps getting better and better. How Ms. Blakeley comes up with these ideas I have no clue but the series is AWESOME!! This is definitely not a stand alone so go back and read the other 3 before this one or you'll be sorry. Henry and Elaina finally get a chance at a "normal" life or as normal as it gets in a zombie apocalypse. One day Henry is approached by some of the people from his past. They offer him a chance to be totally human again but there's a ca ...more

You've made it through the first 3 books.
Somehow you've survived.
There have been so many tears and emotions. If you read them back to back, you're probably feeling a bit spent. This installment starts off a bit less action packed than the others. Everyone is just trying to get through day by day.
But there is this other factor... one of the scientists that created the virus is working on a cure and he knows who he wants to try and fix. So there is a new level of intrigue to the story.
You can

Just when I think I know where this sreies is heading, Rissa Blakeley surprises me by heading in an entirely different one! Rissa has crafted another story that is full of intrigue and emotion that will have you both rooting for and wanting to reach out and smack some sense into some of the characters. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Blind Faith. The title itself should give you a clue that the continuation of this series is going to test you as a reader. It should also tell you that the characters are going to be tested again, and this time they're going to have to rely on faith to get them through it. Some of that faith is going to be blind, because now that the virus is gone and the world is going back to "normal", what do they do? Do they stick together? Go their separate ways? The choices they make force them to blindly ...more

Sometimes faith is all you have in a post-apocalyptic world

Rissa Blakeley is a truly gifted writer. She managed to push all my “reader” buttons – fast paced, emotionally charged and highly unique perspectives. She has captured so many different human emotions and developed characters that are real and relatable.

Blind Faith is the 4th installment to the Shattered Lives Series. I cannot speak highly enough of this series. I have been in a love / hate relationship with this series since I picked i

This review will be difficult to write. Blind Faith is the fourth book in the Shattered Lives series. I hope you have read the first three but I will to temper my language in order not to spoil them if you have not. You MUST read these books in order.

Ms Blakeley puts all the necessary warnings at the start - over18, domestic violence, substance abuse, suicide. She has not written a book to make you feel bad but there are times that...hurt...Also the sex can be hot, rough, vulgar. It can also be

I have been lucky to read the first three books in the series. And book four is just as much gut wrenching as the first three. This brought up a lot of memories and feelings from the first three so this book is not for the faint of heart since I've been with these characters from the beginning this was truly emotional read for me I was frustrated yelling at Henry for the decisions he was making. I was feeling frustrated for Gunther and Cora as they fight for not the attraction for each other but ...more

I made it through 4 books in the series of Shattered Lives. I went through a lot of tears and emotions with this series. Henry, Gunther and the rest of their family [that is what they have all become] are given the opportunity to live in an area that the Military/Government has been fixing up and totally cleared of undeads and they agree. Henry and Gunther and their families now have their own homes. Gunther and Henry even open up a gym. Henry continues to struggle with his demons and to read ab ...more

Well, Ms. Blakeley does it again. What I love best about this series is that I think I know where it's going, but then it goes in a whole other direction. The author definitely keeps you on your toes. The characters in this series have become like friends to me, and the author makes you feel like you're a part of the action. I love her writing. Not many authors I've read have made me like a character after I've vehemently hated him. I can't wait until the next in the series. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT ...more

Highly emotional! Keep a tissue handy, you will be needing it. Full of great character interaction, an intense plot and plenty of intrigue to keep you hooked from start to finish. I wanted to scream and holler over how this one ended, and all I can say is book 4 should be bringing something epic into play. But I want to know WTF and WHY did that happen! I can just imagine Rissa Blakeley's evil grin as I yell and curse her, but she has a unique and wicked imagination and the ability to turn those ...more

Wowzers! On this story. When I started reading this series I was kind of wondering where is all this going to go? Will the characters grow or will they still be the same a-holes. Well I can say in this one I found myself loving Gunther even more, feeling horrible for Henry and his demons to hating the hell out of Cora.
Gunther and Henry along with their families are trying to get their life back on track before the virus hit. They are moving in together, an
