In a nutshell, this book is a love story between a girl with physical and mental scars, and a boy with a tortured past. It's the story of their love, emotional healing and trials along the way,and Colee Firman manages to deliver it in a way which is heartbreaking, intriguing, emotionally exhausting and amazing.

Both the lead characters had their respective baggage. And despite the fact that I wanted to smack their hard heads often,I really liked these too. They were both wounded and lonely and it broke m

I received a copy of the epub from the Goodreads group Read It & Reap in exchange for an honest review.

When you pick up this New Adult Romance you will not put it down until you read the last line. The characters and the original story draw you into their life immediately. Brantley is trying to survive emotionally and financially as a twenty-year-old living on her own with virtually no support. Her life is a challenge but she is determined to move forward independently. She encounters her im

5 Completely caught up in this book stars!!

I had zero expectations going into this book. The blurb sounded intriguing and quite honestly I was expecting the typical, somewhat predictable, innocent girl with baggage meets bad boy with baggage kind of story. Don't get me wrong, there was that element to this, but it was so much more and for me anyway, did not seem typical in the least. There were several surprises that had me crying and laughing and wanting to throw my kindle. I was entranced in t

“Silence is the cruelest lie”

Caught Up In You, was a truly fantastic novel. I’ve been in a bit of book funk lately and this was exactly the kind of story I needed right now. It had the perfect mix of humor, sexual tension, angst, and emotional impact that kept me interested from beginning to end.

Brantley and Myles first meet when she becomes Myles’ upstairs neighbor. From the beginning they don’t get along and they spend most of their time bickering with each other. I loved seeing how

I loved this book, Myles that boy needed a lot of work only a woman bats*** cray cray would stay with him and that cray cray woman was Brantley that girl was persistent and did not scare easily especially when the boy was being a bear, "eff if I know..." He grabbed a napkin and pressed it to his gash. "I'm not a goddamn doctor." Myles he just needed to get his head out of his a** he really did, "you didn't think I'd care?" He leaned forward, practically yelling at me in a hushed voice. "Why? Bec ...more

Wow! This book totally took me by surprise. Brantley moves into a new apartment and her hot neighbor Myles and her get off to the wrong start. Myles is standoffish and Brantley doesn't take crap from anyone so they immediately don't get along. Both Brantley and Myles have things in their past they are not proud of, secrets that they don't like to share. There is so much angst in this book I really didn't know how things were going to turn out. The story is interesting and intense and I could not ...more

Man I’m glad those characters finally got it right! Missed opportunities can be a bi*** but getting that second and third chance to make things right again can make everything worth it in the end. Myles and Brantley (and yes that is a girl’s name) always seem to miss out on an epic romance. Due to outside obligations and just plain old miscommunication, they always ended up passing each other by.

You know how there are times that you really, really, really want to love a book?
That was this book.
I wanted to love it. Really I did.
But I just couldn’t.

I liked it. It was okay, but then there were times that I was bashing my head against my kindle.

Brantley is sweet as can be. A little messed up, and given her past – you can completely understand that. I was a bit shocked when I discovered the reason behind her scars, so kudos to the author for that one – I didn’t see it coming.

If you are looking for a perfect romance book, heck, Caught Up in You is wrong in so many ways, because this book is not about perfection, it is about finding love in imperfections. Honestly, I went into the book expecting another sappy teen romance (but I'm a sucker for sappy romances so ....:P) that I can curl up with at night, throw in a few dramas here and there and voilà! A book version of a good old soap opera. Instead, I got more than what I bargained for.

Stunning, Fantastic, Wonderful, Epic...there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how wonderfully AMAZING this book was. Somehow Colee finds a way to take her readers on an emotional roller-coaster every time she writes. I mean seriously, one minute you are screaming at the characters, the next you are crying your eyes out! I don't know how she does it but I can tell you I will continue to read every single book she writes and this book is no exception.

I almost passed this book up. I'm really glad I didn't! It was really good. It's definitely young adult/new adult and I was afraid it would be immature. The parts that were actually a tad immature were made fun by the characters.

We have Brantley - who I wasn't sure right at first wasn't a guy. She's full of spunk and has overcome so much that she doesn't really allow anyone to get too close to her. She has scars, both physical and emotional that show how far she's come and how much she struggle

Put together two main characters with a ton of issues from their past and you can expect for sparks to fly-romantic and otherwise.

Caught Up In You has a lot of great characters from the leads, Brantley and Myles, to every single secondary character (my favorites were Tom and Wyatt, Brantley's dad though not so much). They all contribute well to the story, and even though there's a lot of them I don't think the story would feel the same without them. Myles is wonderful, though doesn't necessaril

3.5 stars. Recieved from the author for an honest review. I am emotionally exhausted after reading this book. It was so up, down, back and forth, my head and my heart was spinning. I wanted to bash Myles in his head for doing what he did. I loved Brantley. She was so strong and independant, but she definitly had her own issues. I'm suprised either one of them could get out of their own way to actually have a conversation. It was well written and full of angst. It pulled me in many different dire ...more

4-1/2 Stars. This is one of those cases when you absolutely shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The sweet handholding depicted on the cover doesn't even come close to capturing the intense, sometimes volatile, emotions between the pages. The tumultuous relationship between Brantley and Myles is anything but sweet, although they do share some very sweet moments. These two clash and collide, battling their way to loving one another.

The passion and fire between them is palpable, as is the angst dr

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews.

Genre: New Adult, Romance,

This was one of those reads that reminds me why I enjoy good New Adult novels. Its full of romance, drama, humour and tears – and wow when the sad part hits there were tears....
The book is told in alternating POV of both characters. Brantley ( strange name, I felt it was more male, and kept forgetting she was the female lead at first) has a terrible past, that’s made her really cautious about meeting

I was not expecting how much I was going to love this book. I loved a romance story were the couple can barely stand each other in the beginning. I love it when the heroine can go toe to toe with the hero. It makes me like her even more. First I would like to thank Colee Firman and the New Adult Book Club for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

In Caught Up In You we meet Brantley and Myles, they are both young adults, new neighbors, very stubborn and in some ways they are both dealing with the aftermath of events from the last. Brantley is trying to forget about the past, of things that happened in her family life, she wants to stand on her own two feet and she feels like she can't trust people

I’ve been craving a good ol' new adult romance. No cliche. No paranormal. Just a good light contemporary romance. Caught Up in You wasn't the typical light read I’d anticipated. Between the troubled pasts and problematic present relationships, there's a lot of emotional drama. It was actually far from a light read, but that didn’t stop my enjoyment.

Miles and Brantley are messed up in their own ways. Miles holds a strong resentment for the female gender, troubled by a mistake which still follows

I have read other work (paranormal/fantasy) from this author, but this was her first NA romance book. So, upon finishing Caught Up In You, I am torn between being mad at the author for writing something so emotional and wanting to hug her for giving me the closure I needed at the end.

I'm going straight to the point- I love this book! I couldn't put it down and I kept reading it as I'm dying to know what happens next. One thing about this that's different from most of the books I read recently is that I get to read it from both perspectives of Myles and Brantley. Unlike most that we only get to see one side of the story, this is a rather interesting flow for the storyline.
