MeChelle Vermeulen was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand where she currently lives with her husband and two sons. Her new adult debut novel Hurricane Butterfly was released on 21/11/2014 and she's currently working on her new series which may or may not have a happy ending...
I think this is very good for a debut novel. Some of the situations were not clearly explored and their context to the story line is not always clear. Otherwise, if you are looking for an angsty novel about young adults, this is the ideal book.
I think that the suspense was kept up very well throughout the book and that the ending tied everything that you suspected, but were not sure about, together very well. Well done MeChelle Vermeulen. I am looking forward to the next book.
