I've always loved reading Colin Dann's books, so a few months ago I decided to start tracking down those books missing from my collection as well as those I'd never even read or heard of. I absolutely adored 'The King of the Vagabonds' the first time I read it, but was unaware it had a sequel. A bit of research and I turned up this lovely little gem!

I should add that I bought this book from Thriftbooks, an online secondhand book website. This is my first order from them, of seven Colin Dann book

Picked this up second hand as a kid and I've loved it ever since.

This is the kind of book I would have loved as a child! It's not the life-changing 'must-read' kind of book, but it's an enjoyable book that's quick to read!

Colin Dann (born 1943 in Richmond, Surrey (now part of London)) is an English author. He is best known for his The Animals of Farthing Wood series of books, which was subsequently made into an animated series.
