A deeper-than-usual picture book on ballet, based on a PBS series of the same name. Each of the 7 chapters explores some part of ballet in general and a famous ballet in particular. There are tons of photographs of performers and companies from around the world. I wish we owned this book!

Footnotes was a quick, easy read but with so much information. I enjoyed this book and learned a lot.
